Returning due to popular demand, Benjaminbrandt, yossgold and I bring you a third and improved season of the BLC! The BLC will only be a 13 week season, picking only popular and/or main org events and cards. A 10 week regular season will be followed by a 3 week playoff - Everyone makes the playoffs! Seeding is very important, so keep up on your teams and picks! Here is the BLC information:
RULES:
- 1) Each Team is entitled to one add/drop per week, ending once the playoffs start.
- 2) Each Team's lowest score will be dropped each week, ending once the playoffs start.
- 3) Weekly threads will be posted every Tue (our week will run Wednesday - Tuesday).
- 4) Solo event winners will receive a 100 point bonus for their team.
- 5) We will use a "Tier" format in order to decide what events to chose for the week.
- 6) There will be a three (3) event minimum per week.
- 7) On slow weeks, captains will vote on what other events to chose for the week (3 captains).
- 8) No ammy (with the lone exception if the captain majority choses one on a slow week).
- 9) Events must be watchable (only exception is if an awesome event is not watchable).

@OldManGloom was the first one to offer this in this post.
Since then there have been a few more offers for tiers 1 and 2 to be populated a tad differently by hiblet, mulefloyd, curtwag84 & Live2wrestle (if I've missed anyone, sorry about that, please feel free to point it out).
I've summarized all the promotions offered (plus a few minor additions that I thought some people would like to be in tier 2 or at least considered) and we can have another "vote-off" like we did for the rules.
Tier 1 - Automatically in, unless they REALLY **** up
Tier 2 - Card strength evaluated and voted on, needs at least 3 captain votes to get in
Neither - Only gets evaluated if they pull a cracking card out of their asses, needs unanimous decision to get in (this rule basically goes for any card that isn't on the 2 tiers not just the ones that are marked 'Niether' here - that's why I didn't call it tier 3. Tier 3 is every promotion that's not on either of the first 2 tiers).
This is the list of relevant promotions (you can also add if you think I've left out a promotion worthy of tiers 1 or 2, and just post the list with your vote for each promotion as following:
Promotion X: Tier 1
Promotion Y: Tier 2
Promotion Z: Neither
My vote:
UFC - Tier 1
Bellator - Tier 1
Invicta - Tier 1
WSOF - Tier 1
BAMMA - Tier 2
Legacy FC - Tier 2
RFA - Tier 2
XFC - Tier 2
MFC - Tier 2
CFA - Tier 2
Titan FC - Tier 2
EFCA - Tier 2
One FC - Tier 1
Cage Warriors - Tier 1
Tachi PF - Tier 2
PXC - Tier 2
Rings - Tier 2
Shooto Japan - Tier 2
Pancrase - Tier 2
DEEP - Tier 2
DARE - Niether
KSW - Tier 2
RUFF - Neither
Vale Tudo Japan - Tier 2
M-1 - Tier 2
Jungle Fight - Tier 2
Shooto Brazil - Tier 2
Bitetti Combat - Neither
CMMA - Tier 2
CFFC - Tier 2
RFC - Neither
CWFN - Neither
GRABAKA - Neither
By the way, get used to this voting system because that's what we're going to use every week for voting on the tier-2 events, it seems like it worked once and would be an easy clear-cut way to go.
Just as long as at least all captains take their time to vote, this season might even go without arguments and people feeling bad :)

So go ahead and add your 2 cents buddy.
What I'm going to do is tally the votes and every promotion that gets 50% or more of the votes into a tier, will be placed on that tier, the rest will be revisited on a weekly basis (if relevant) and will need a unanimous decision to get counted.

UFC
Bellator
WSOF
ONE
VTJ - easily the most talent rich cards in Asian MMA and they stream. Their first 3 cards had 10 fighters combined that have fought in the UFC and more that have fought in other major orgs. Their 4th card already has a former UFC fighter, a former top 10 BW and 2 elite prospects all in only 4 fights.
KSW - consistently good cards and stream
Cage Warriors - consistently solid cards plus stream
RFA (if no ammy's of course)
Titan FC - televised and consistently strong events
PXC - many top prospects (many going to the UFC lately including Smolka, Tanaka, Chope, Kimura, Delos Reyes and Doane among others) and strong vets plus stream
Invicta
M-1 - consistently good cards with UFC level talent plus stream
Tier 2
BAMMA
XFC
MFC
CFA
EFCA
Tachi - their latest cards have been stinkers though, UFC really killed their roster
Shooto
Shooto Brazil
Pancrase - pretty much only their main numbered events, plus co promoting with WSOF should beef up some of their events
DEEP (mainly their Impact cards, those are their main series)
RUFF - always stream plus have some good cards with high level talent lined up
ROAD - their main series of events are better than ONE's usually plus stream. Have sent fighters to the UFC such as Nam Yui Chul, Bang Tae Hyun, Kang Kyung Ho, and have had champs in other major orgs such as Koji Ando, Kim Soo Chul (in what seems to be a unanimous tier 1 org nonetheless), and Andrew Leone who is fighting for a ONE title. They also signed a massive media deal so they are now putting on more cards and bringing in more international stars. Their next card includes a former UFC fighter, a DEEP Future King, former ONE champ, a highly ranked Japanese prospect, a vet that has fought in many major orgs, a Sengoku Rookie Champ, and a prospect out of Brazilian Top Team among others
Jungle Fight
Out the ones that have been listed that I would put under neither are
RINGS
DARE
CMMA
CFFC
GRABAKA
That's all the orgs I can think of at the moment that might be included
