Never seen Umalatov fight, but this is do or die for Magny. He's lost his last 2 and is probably getting cut if he loses this fight.

I have no idea what the UFC is doing. Joe SIlva in particular. They just keep signing and signing these fighters.

One thing's for sure, if Guzman (it just felt right to me) is remotely close in talent to any of the other "signees" Magny's going home

I saw his last fight where he won by DEC, and overall I wasn't very impressed by Umalatov, But looking through his record right now he seems like quite the finisher. Watching his last fight I got the impression that he wasn't one... at all.

Only losing to Belyaev and Akhmedov also. Two pretty solid fighters. I've seen much more Belyaev than I have Akhmedov though.

You don't need to be all that to beat Magny ... I think we can safely say he'll get fight #2 in the UFC and then we'll see how good he really is ...
