his name is brendan hoxie and he fights nelson gaipo  this friday in AFO fights. the only reason i picked him b/c all of his wins are by submissions and the guy he is fighting has lost three in a row by subs.

Brendan's brother Mark sent me that photo to post as his fighter pic. I think they get a laugh out of it. I do, it's a an awesome photo.

LOL at the thread title.  And I picked him to win as well.

I also laughed when I made my pick on that fight.

I looked at that event to make picks but couldn't bring myself to do it. Most the fighters were amateurs, the fighters that weren't almost all had a losing record. I think I would get better odds flipping a coin.

But it's the thrill of the "lucky" feeling you get when your guys win!

if you pick a million fights with two fighters who are 0-0 and you know nothing about then you will still be around 50%. unless youre really lucky or unlucky. Since you have no knowledge of either fighter then you have no advantage or edge when it comes to picking the winner. Therefore making it a 50/50 proposition. Its either one or the other. The same as a coinflip. I like coinflips.

actually a quarter weighs on the head side just a fraction more than the tail side. if you flip that quarter it will be around 50.2% to 49.8 % for the tail side. i kid you not.
