Cerrone vs. Oliveira Predictions

Woah 8 hours... Ive been up since like 8 :( 

i talked 2% of the people here in picking cerrone. 52% cerrone , 48% oliveira. 

@Franklin880088 be ready for some scrambles because this is no Cerrone vs. Rocha fight... Oliveira forced Lentz into his type of fight and Lentz is very good @ controlling his opponents... Cerrone has good speed, I will give him that and you are right about Henderson being stronger... You prove good points, but Cerrone isn't gonna be able to dance on the outside and throw kicks for three rounds and keep it safe.  Oliveira will bring heavy pressure and force ground action and I see Cerrone "getting caught"... it happens. But that's my opinion... It's not far so I cann't wait to see what happens!

True, which was impressive, but he also does not threaten with any offensive attacks, he simply Lays and Prays. Though I am glad Oliveira, is as good as I thought he was. Which I was very happy about. His ground game is top notch. I fear he may need to dropp a weight class though, if the Miller fight was any indication of lacking in strength

He does not need to, why on earth would he attempt such a thing? He has one of the best chins out there. His best bet is to get in Oliveira face and test his chin and willingness to engage. I think trying to out point Oliveria is a bad move. He quite the accomplish striker himself and he has long arms.

Pressure not going to matter, Cerrone seems to do better the more he pressured. Olveria would be better off trying to out point Cerrone on the feat.  What makes u think Olveria will go for take down? He rarely if ever goes for them and Cerrrone wrestling is much better then Olvierias.

There will be clinch and ground action in this fight, It will happen... I never said Oliveira will go for takedowns, If anything Cerrone might...Like I said we will have to wait and see... Oliveira's guard is dangerously active It will bring alot of scrambles/sweeps. This fight will be a crazy pace. I think this is a perfect match up.

I agree, it will be a good fight. I hope Cerrone wins, purely because it be less of a set back for 21 year old to lose who just starting his carreer then some one established like cerrone.

I'm taking Oliveira in this fight, Cerrone is good but Oliveira is super dangerous. Oliveira has all the talent in the world and will only get better. 

cerrone has proven he can take punishment oliveira has not. i like picking on known factors.

oliveira's only loss was by a submission to miller so i think cerrone exploits that.

cerrone can dish out punishment and take it. oliveira can just dish out punishment but won't be able to take cerrone's  strikes.
