Johnson's last performance was impressive how he controlled the whole fight, Tibau on the other hand I felt he didn't win his last performance I felt Varner won but them's the breaks, but I feel he will win this fight.

Tibau is absolutely the definition of the word "Gatekeeper". It seems like he's the guy the UFC feeds guy to, in order to see if they're ready for the top tier yet. Johnson definitely's got the talent, but is he consistent enough? I don't know why, but I just don't see him putting it together this time. The veteran Tibau should get the nod by grinding decision.

Tibau can sub him or ride out a decision. Johnson could out-strike him for sure but I don't see Johnson not getting taken down, especially early on in the fight when Tibau is in Hemi-mode.

I keep changing my pick on this one, but if Myles Jury can take him down at will, I think that Tibau will have the same success. It's just Johnson has great cardio, so if he survives until the third, I could see a third round knockout for Johnson, but I'm sticking with Gleison.

it's an ever elusive Thiago Alves sighting.  Also i think the bout could go somewhat like Tibau's fight with Varner but in this case Johnson shores up his takedown defense and finishes him in the third.

Johnson looked so good against Lauzon that part of me wants to go with a "wow, Johnson is getting so much better" storyline. But I think it was just a good matchup in hindsight for Johnson. Big speed advantage over Lauzon and it just worked in his favor. He's probably still a bit faster than Tibau, but not dramatically, and the strength and size differential here is going to be huge. Tibau via overwhelm and smother.

Agreed completely. Johnson is good, but styles make fights, and Tibau has the style (and size) to wrestlefest him for at least 10 minutes.

Johnson is absolutely unpredictable. Beats Ferguson & Castillo back-to-back and makes me think he's turned the corner. Then he turns around and loses to Myles Jury and Reza Madadi, so I figure the UFC is looking to cut him when they match him up with Joe Lauzon, whom Johnson proceeds to easily outpoint before KOing Gleison Tibau. ***.

As a sidenote, I have now picked Johnson's last 6 fights and been wrong every time. Clearly, whatever I pick is the opposite of what will happen.
