Jesus Medeiros has 6 of his 9 wins by KO/TKO IN THE LHW & MW DIVISIONS! He's dropped from LHW/MW completely bypassing WW to pick on the LW's. That might be one of the craziest scenarios I've ever heard of in this sport.

Unless Yves goes for takedowns this should probably be a standing fight. Medeiros by TKO.

I love Edwards, but he really should be considering retirement. He's, what, 2-4 in his last 6? At age 37? He's not even losing to the great fighters anymore. That said, this should still be pretty entertaining.

Saying he's 2-4 doesnt tell the whole story, the Cruickshank decision was a travesty, he arguably beat Vaille Flagg, and I thought he beat Ferguson, also dont forget he became the first guy to KO Stephens just last year.

@Live Great point, he could be 4-2 in his last 6 considering the judges...


I also find it funny that ever since Stout landed that perfect counter punch...people think Yves' chin is questionable and picking him to get KO'd. In 62 fights he's lost by legit KO only 3 times...the others to Masvidal and a young KJ Noons, great strikers with good power obviously.

Being a huge fan of Yves I'm picking him by decision...just hope he has a bit more urgency in this one compared to the Vallie-Flag fight. Yancy is aggressive though, so i think Yves will be up for it.
