EDIT: Back to back winner @joe kerr just BARELY gets his theme pick in time, literally 2 minutes after I had given up and gone with a default theme.  His choice is Hayao Miyazaki, in Joe's words: the master artist, writer, director and co-founder of Studio Ghibli and his over 50 years long career of brilliancy.

Get your weekend picks locked in, suckas!

Love me some Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away. Nothing approaches those two in my book though. Howl's Moving Castle was a good one.

@Skelliher, have you seen Nausicaa? It's up there as one of Miyazaki's best.

@Nomad: I've never seen Nausicaa, but now I'm going to make it a point to watch it. I know it's considered among his best, if not his masterpiece.

@Skelliher, I've seen all 10 of Miyazaki's films and I'm excited for his last full length feature coming out later this year (they are all very good and you know how ******* critical I am). Its hard to call Nausicaa his masterpiece next to Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke but it was his first masterpiece, it was the first time Miyazaki produced something breathtaking and completely original then his career just exploded. His first film was Lupin The Castle of Cagliostro which was very good though.

^_^ I love film.

I think that has been the toughest weekend to pick ever just because of how crappy I'm feeling. I would have lived a 200 fight weekend, but it would be a high 300 one!

Not a great deal of effort, energy or research went into this weekend so I'd be over the moon with a top 25 finish. But it's not looking great right now!

I ran out of time... I've picked like 5 or 6 cards in the last 15 minutes b/c of it... I will suffer most likely, but I had to get my picks in! I picked 3 events in 5 min... I hit traffic on the way home.
