To StarStravos' point in his breakdown I think if this becomes a one dimensional stand up fight that Hall having an 8 inch reach advantage along with his kicks will be able to keep Howard far enough away to keep from hurting him. Howard obviously has the power to knock him out, but I'd be surprised to see him come out, take the center, and look to exchange. I think the smart fight for Howard will be to effectively mix his striking in enough to get in position for the take down. If a guy in Kelvin Gastellum who is now fighting at 170 could take down Hall seemingly at will in their TUF finale fight I don't think Howard would have any problems taking Hall down if he could close that 8 inch gap and get his hands on him.

I think people are forgetting how small Howard is, the dude is 5'7" and previously fought in the UFC at welterweight. I think he gives up too much reach and when you add in Hall's kicks and his ability to keep the distance, Howard should have a rough night. It wouldn't be impossible for Howard to one punch Hall but Uriah is such a seasoned striker that I think it would be in a scramble or in the clinch.

True. If Howard can land a bomb, he can end it, but Hall is a beastly striker and hopefully has the UFC jitters out of the way.

While I do think Howard is pretty underrated, he's way too small for Middleweight. Hall has a big reach and I think he'll do a better job using it this time than he did against Gastelum.

I could see Hall landing a big kick on the smaller opponent, that is if he comes out and fights instead of the crap he did at the Tuf finale and I'm not trying to take anything from Gastellum's win. I just think he bought in to his own hype a little too much in that fight.

honestly, i think uriah hall has a top 5 mw skill set...but a horrendous mental toughness...at least from how he's handled the pressure and his time on the show... i think howard will grind him down.
