I would really like to see Hughes win this and retire. To me though if Diego hits Hughes once Hughes will drop and the fight will be over.

Prediction: Hughes  |  Submission  |  Round 2

It's simple then. Hughes will just have to copy Wredum's tactic that he used against Overeem but in the 3rd round, he pretends to flop making Sancehz drop his arms and then pounces on him and crushes his head like a walnut.

Prediction: Sanchez  |  Decision

I really want to be wrong with this pick because I don't like Sanchez, and Hughes is one of my favorite fighters, but I think that Sanchez will keep the fight on the feet and eek out a decision.

I love both fighters and respect both. Both have well a well rounded game although sanchez has better standup in my opinion, i believe hughes has the better ground game and i think thats where he will take this fight and impose his will and overall sumbit deigo sanchez

Looks like 3 in a row with Diego KO 2, I also think Matt will slow down and Diego never does. Diego also really can't take much more of a beating than he's gotten the last 2 fights, he shouldn't be too worried about Matt.

Prediction: Hughes  |  Submission  |  Round 2

I gotta go Hughes on this, but maybe that's just because Hughes is among my favorite fighters. His submission of Almeida is my favorite submission of all time. He just put Almeida out with that. I can't believe how few people are picking Sanchez in this fight, but maybe that's where the smart money is.
Anyway I say Hughes by guillotine in round 2.

Diego by mauling.  I haven't made my official pick but I'm leaning towards 1st round ko/tko for "The Dream"

hughes by either decision or 2nd round sub

sanchez really is not that good of a fighter atleast anymore and there is no way he won the fight against kammpman

and i dont think he is gonna have an answer for hughes wrestling or ground game

not to mention i think hughes is gonna be hungry coming into this one after getting smahed by bj like he did last time

Not a fan of Sanchez. Plus, I'd never pick against Hughes.
