Yes.. Jordan is the most clutch player in NBA history byfar imo. He's never been one of my favorite players, I much preferred guys like Bird and Ewing. But still, can't deny the dudes greatness.

Lebron will never be close to Jordan. Anyone that remembers seeing Michael play will tell you that. You could put Kobe in the conversation but when you have guys like Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Charles Barkley and Karl Malone saying Michael Jordan is the best ever and there isn't even an argument I listen to guys like that.

Lebron plays a different position then Jordan, and has a totally different skill set. I don't get why they are always compared.

You have to look at basketball in generations. Jordan was the best of his generation, Lebron is the best of the current generation. Lebron isn't head and shoulders better than Durrant and Kobe. Jordan was head and shoulders better than Bird and Magic. I put him as the best ever for his generation. Wilt is a close second. That being said I think if a prime Jordan was playing today Lebron would be better IMO. He is bigger, stronger, a better passer, has a better shooting percentage, is a Better rebounder.

If anything, Kobe is more like MJ, and Lebron is more like Magic.

So happy to see this thread and this time, it's staying.
Michael Jordan is no doubt the greatest player of all-time. But like what Trae said, LeBron and Michael are different players, it's easier to compare Bryant with Jordan than LeBron because the skill set LeBron needs is completely different.
LeBron will go down as one of the greatest players of all-time, there is no doubt. But Michael Jordan is still the greatest ever.

Magic and Lebron are both big, skilled passers. Lebron and Jordan are both rare athletes. Oscar Robertson and Lebron have similarities statistically. Everyone is there own player. Lebron gets compared to Jordan because he Is the bet in the game. He has the most income from sponsors, the ESPN 24 hour coverage. He is the main event.

@knockout, Lebron is basically a victim of his own greatness, and the media has been running with it ever since he was in high school. The media has put him on a pedestal that he didn't ask to be on, and one that very few has been on.

They have a much better record without Rondo. Pierce was out tonight, there's your contributing factor to losing to a team that has 50 losses.

Sometimes it happens on a night when your best player is out...coincidentally.

Speaking of the Bobcats, I think we can all agree Jordan was a better player than GM or Owner. I live in Charlotte and you can't give away Bobcats tickets unless a high profile team is in town. My buddy saw Doc Rivers today at Starbucks.

How is LeBron overrated?
He's arguably the best in close player in the history of the game, he's a beast of a human being, he can play the post, he's developed a great mid range shot, his long range is ever-improving, he's one of the best defensive players in the league with blocks, rebounds, steals and ****, he's the greatest athlete in the history of basketball and arguably all sports AND he's developing "the clutch gene" as Skip Bayless would say.
LeBron is the best in the game, say otherwise and you're just hating.
