I've seen a Tapology Talks for everything else so wth.

With the playoffs approaching lets talk some basketball.

Some news from recently:

- Heat get 18th win straight over Indiana.

- Lakers beat Chicago to take 8th seed in the West.

- Durants 23 pts and 10 rebs get the Thunder their 5th win in a row against the Cetics.

- Raptors beat Cavs, Kyrie Irving injures shoulder.

- Magic gave the 76ers their 5th straight loss.

- Suns beat Rockets even though Harden gets 38 pts.

I am so ******* happy that LeBron is a Cav again. I started watching basketball because of LeBron and I really loved the Cavaliers but The Decision enraged me and the idea of the Heat essentially 'buying' titles made me completely reject LeBron and the Heat for what they were. I remember when it happened, I hoped to God that one day LeBron would return to the Cavaliers and right his wrong when the Heat contract ended.

And it happened. This is a great day for me, I am so happy right now. LeBron signing with the Cavaliers makes me as happy as the Spurs winning the championship this year, that's how big of a deal this is to me.

LeBron James is a Cleveland Cavalier. Holy ******* **** I can't believe my wish actually came true.

@Brazilian Jitz I used to post like 50 times a day when I first joined Tapology. On UFC events, I would literally get 100 posts in one discussion thread. It's pretty easy to get a lot of posts on this site so I don't think it's fair to rag on Tacos for that, plus his posts are fairly short.

The thing that I can't get is how people have 10,000+ predictions, like picking a fight takes a ****load of time. I remember when I'd sit on my computer for 2 hours straight just picking fights for the ITL and the MVP league, I don't get how people do it so much.

If they can pull this off? What a ******* squad! Waiters, Bennett and a 1st rounder for K Love.

Was LeBron a free agent? I don't see any trading surrounding this?

@michigandolphin That would be a crazy deal but it would be fair as well. I think Bennett is significantly better than what he showed this season and I still have hope for him (maybe because he's a Canadian, I don't know).

Sweet. The Karmic debt has been payed to Cleveland. They got a finer-tuned LeBron back into a better team (at least potentially) for the same "price" they lost him for :)

Also, that was fast...

... and in true Miami fans fashion, downright ungrateful ... they got a couple of championships bought for them and the minute he leaves back to the place who really got burnt by him and is in his home state they just black him out instead of saying thank you.

Jeremy Lin is now a Los Angeles Laker. They're really clearing up cap space for Bosh.

I really don't think the Cavs should gut their team for Kevin Love. Depth is much more important then having a couple superstars. The Spurs showed that and Lebron should know that first hand.

Houston is going to overpay for Bosh spice. 4yrs and 88 million? Bosh is not worth that. OKC and the Spurs and probably the Clippers still beat the Rockets in a 7 game series with or without Bosh.

The best move for Melo right now would be to sign with the Bulls. I would ask the Knicks for a sign and trade. That way he could get all his money and years plus be on a team that can compete for a title. The Knicks would get something in return for Melo and Melo gets all his money, everyone is happy. The Bulls play great team defense but they have trouble scoring. Adding Melo and a shooter like Mcdermott and plus getting Rose back who is a top 3 player in the league when healthy I would say the Bulls would be favorites to come out of the East.

I was gonna say, is Miami gonna do to Lebron what Cleveland did after he left? Or do Miami fans just completely forget they have a basketball team?

I'm going with the latter. And that's what they get for booing their own team, then leaving early in games 3 and 4. If you're not gonna stick around when you're team is losing, you don't deserve to have the best player play for your team.

@p4pgoat, the discussed trade doesn't gut Cleveland. It's potentially hefty (mainly because they're giving up potential in Bennet and the 1st round pick, not solidified output.), but in no means a gutter ... Waiters will be missed but the team's foundation stays and they're left with 3 superstars in key positions a young and solid backing cast and underrated as **** Anderson Varejao in the middle (if he stays healthy) to compliment Kevin Love.

I guess with LeBron in they might also try and move Deng to pad out the roster. He frees up a hefty slice of cap room and can get some nice pieces back.

Bosh getting $118 million for 5 years with the Heat? If true, this could be the most overpaid athlete in sports. Bosh isn't worth that. Not even close.

LOL!!!! Desperation moves much? If I thought he wasn't worth the 96 mill (which turned out to be 88 mill) that Houston offered him, *** is this??? (The Houston offer was for 4 years though, right?)

Though, I'll be happy if Houston don't end up shelling out that kind of contract for Bosh. Don't get me wrong, Bosh is a good player, but he's no longer worth those contracts (I'd argue he wasn't ever, but wouldn't hold it against anyone who thought he was).

Nothing to say except for good for Bosh that he's getting PAID! :)

@yoss Minnesota has said they want Wiggins,Varejao or Waiters and 2 1st round picks for Love. That's giving up a lot for Kevin Love and Kevin Martin. Rumor was the Cavs chose Wiggins over Parker because they knew Minnesota liked Wiggins more. Kyrie, Lebron and Love is a great group but if you don't surround them with quality depth the West teams will be carving them up. Cleveland should be more concerned with building a complete team that can grow together not just a couple superstars.

Bosh has 2 rings and Wade has 3. They will both get paid and play out their contracts without any kind of hunger for another title. Just cashing  those checks! McRoberts and Granger have got to be sad.
