Hey all, first I wanna say that if this thread topic offends you, please don't read any further. With 04/20 just around the corner I thought I would make a "420 Friendly" zone where we can talk about MMJ/MMA related topics. I currently own a smoke shop

and hear too many opposing views on sports and MMJ, I personally love to smoke a little before a long run or a workout, I find that my muscles don't get as sore when I'm in the middle of a workout so I'm able to push myself a little more especially when it comes to running. Does anyone have similar experiences? Please let's keep this thread clean and as Legal as possible.

P.S. I make sure it's not an Indica for my runs I usually like to go Sour D.

I smoke everyday, and as much as i can because when i am high, i am at peace with everything. It takes me away from my everyday ******** just for a few hours, then its back to the madness. I know the high wears off eventually, but for that moment, i dont have a care in the world. Robson Moura was at my gym doing a seminar, and the day before, they had open mat. I didnt know, and a friend called me, and told me, so i rushed up there to get a chance to roll with him. I was high as ****, put my Gi on, and got choked out about 7 times, all guilly. He would let me sweep him, then grab my neck, and make me tap. His transitions are soo ******* smooth. One of the best times i ever had while being high as hell.

I don't smoke weed, and havent in 6 years; however, I don't profess against it, and it is extremely silly that Marijuana is not legal everywhere. It's purely politics, I believe within our generation, Pot will be legal in most democracies.

@traeBlack so do you think you preform better not stoned? also, I would never workout or run stoned out of my mind, I just smoke a little to relax my muscles cuz I feel I can push myself more

I would never do muay thai, or run, or anything other then BJJ while being high. With BJJ, idk why but its easier to do it when being high because i am more relaxed, and not worrying about getting kicked or punched in the face.

lolz, not having to worry about getting punched or kicked in the face is a good thing sometimes... I guess your more flexible if your relaxed, I think Joe Rogan has the same kinda idea for training, is your reaction time different? I don't need to worry about that with general working out

My girlfriend is actually a legal patient right now and it helps her out a lot. She gets it from a caregiver right now but eventually I would like to look into growing it for ourselves to cut down on the cost.

I dont think my reaction time is any better or worse. I think it has me thinking about alot more **** because i am so relaxed, if that sounds right. Its kinda hard to explain really lol BJJ is a human chess game, and you gotta think 3 moves ahead. If you dont, and the person you are rolling with does. Its easy to get choked out, or swept, or have your guard passed. I dont think its the reaction time, its more of the thought process you have when rolling high as ****.

I smoke before the gym once in a while and I don't find any negative effects. Even playing squash I'm on the same level when I'm baked.
