Anyone think Anderson wanted this? 

Maybe he wanted it but i"m too shocked right now to even form a proper conspiracy theory. Even though i was wrong, at least how and when it happened was right just for the wrong person

If he wanted to lose, he would've chosen a nice, painless decision loss.

There's no ******* way you fight Chris Weidman and not get huirt...or painless. This was his way of letting it go. Since when has anything Anderson done politically made any sense to anyone else. It was his way of doing. And that's why he is the greatest. Because he is 100% unique and great.

I remember Matt Serra talking about some kid named Chris Weidman way back at UFC 119. He claimed he would be champion. He claimed we would all know his name soon.. Well, he must be real ******* proud right now.

anyone else think anderson sounded kind of relieved in the post fight interview? heavy is the head that holds the crown.

Anderson Silva is a legend a hall of famer the best striker ever but not the best mixed martial artist ever. That belongs to Georges "Rush" St. Pierre. All the disrespect caught up to him and he got rendered unconscious for it. 

It did sound like he was tired of being champion. Probably tired of the press conferences, repetitive questions, and so forth. 

With that said.. I'm ready for a Cung Le vs Anderson Silva match, now.

I had faith in Weidman being able to beat Anderson, but never in a million years did I imagine him KOing Anderson standing. But Anderson deserved it, you can only be a ****y disrespectful ********* for so long before you pay the price for it. Respect EVERYONE you fight.

What a joke. How ******* fast people just turn on Anderson. Everywhere I look today 'hype train derailed'. WHAT?!?! Lets not forget the guy ******* ruled a division for 7 years. The post fight interview, the crowd booing him. UFC fans are pieces of ****. Yes... I said that. Seems like 85% of the UFC fans don't give a **** who you are or how long you were the scariest on the planet, unless you're holding gold it seems like the fans just turn on you.

And now all these 'Weidman fans' are coming out of the woodwork.. There were very few people on here that I remember backing Weidman from day one (I know there is more). Actually, I remember 2. Gunn and Trae. I was not a Silva fan and I never will be. I was not a Weidman fan and I never will be.. But I respect him. I respect them both. Anderson Silva has had one of the most spectacular careers of all time and I refuse to dismiss that fact due to the loss last night. Chris Weidman got a fairly premature title fight and you know what, the guy capitalized on it. He knocked out ANDERSON SILVA and became the UFC Middleweight champion.

I don't see why these so called 'fans' can't just give respect. Oh well. I guess Anderson lost a couple hundred thousand fans last night.. ******* ****s.

I was listening to a Chris Leben interview and he said something along the lines of the fans loving it when you're on a streak but if you lose once or twice you are water under the bridge. That's the way fans are today I think in every sport, it's pretty bad.

Not a fan of either. Have hated some of Anderson's antics over the years but have been more than compensated by the awe his skill has produced.

When it happened, my reaction was to stand up and yell at the TV: "Take that you clowning *****!" because that was exactly how I felt at the moment. For once karmic justice instantly materialized. I do NOT think Anderson is a ***** but his clowning last night was a ***** move and it was so rewarding to see him pay for it. 

I think they were booing Silva for acting the way he did in the cage. The guy is as fake as the Elvis that was performing down at the Flamingo. He talks respect but doesn't show it. Chris Weidman was a very dangerous opponent and you clown like that? That's disrespect to Weidman to all Silva fans, to the whole sport of mixed martial arts and to all the people that help him train. That's not how you act in the cage. Hiding behind the referee, the taunting it's all *********. Then he bows and says how much he respects everyone. Yeah sure you do.
