Haven't seen a thread on this so i thought I'd make one.


So what's Tapology playing?


I've been dabbling in a bunch of games but i keep going back to Uncharted 3,Black Ops 2 and BF 3 multiplayer.

Yay another Halo fan,But how in the name of whatever higher-power you don't believe in could you put Reach's Multiplayer above Halo 2.Reach had the worst multiplayer of the franchise IMO and H2 was the best.The map rotation of Reach consisted of 100% forge world and it made me all  sad.All great games though.

Not sure if you ever followed MLG but war Walshy!!!

To be fair, Mike, I didn't get to play Halo 2's multiplayer all that much so my opinion on that should be taken with a grain of salt. However, I don't think Reach's multiplayer was as dismal as everyone makes it out to be. And I definitely think the story in that game is vastly under appreciated.

The story of Reach was incredible,As expected.

If you ever want to play H2 online again its possible.You can get a controller adapter for PC you can get the Windows version of H2 which has active servers.Oh and XboxConnect is an alternative that allows you to play H2 on your Xbox online.

I'm in the process of getting a copy of Halo 2 on windows so I can finally play that masterpiece again.

I've been playing OTP NHL 13 lately and Halo 4 multiplayer occasionally . Still waiting on GTA 5 and the new Gears of War.

Been playing Battlefield 3 lately. Game is nuts online.

Also playing Dragon Warrior IV for the NES. Classic.

playing CODMW3 campaign and god...it's so boring and repetitive. I don't know why, I enjoyed the first two's campaigns very much and this one's pretty similar to those, but I'm just so annoyed. The game is boring.

I didnt finish the MW3 campaign. Lately I've been playing the hell out of Black Ops 2. Just picked up NBA2k13 too.

I find all the COD campaigns crazy repetitive but kinda entertaining. Trying to get all the shotgun achievements so I can get diamonds all on em gypsy wedding style.

ahha I just realized why I especially don't like this campaign.

You don't really do anything, everyone else does everything for you and all you do is shoot and kill. It's just a movie with moments where you can shoot and kill things. The game doesn't involve the player much.

I used to be a huge gamer, I still would be if it didnt cost a limb. Now I mostly just play my old games.
Some of my favorites include: Crash 2, Shadow of the Colossus, Final Fantasy X, Fire Emblem (cant remember the subtitle but it was for the Gamecube), Legend of Dragoon, Mario Sunshine, Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee, and a ton of others that would take too long to list

Shadow of the Colossus was just beautiful yet so sad at times. It's in my all time top 10.

My personal top 5 would be

GTA (PS3 or PC)
FIFA (PS3)
Diablo (PC)
Golden Eye (N64)
Mario Kart (SNES)

In terms of how many hours I spent playing a game, Golden Eye on the N64 playing multiplayer with 3 other friends wins hands down. A close second would be WWF: No Mercy playing with my cousin and uncle for hours and hours.

Torchlight 2 is most likely going to be 50% off on Steam tonight at 11pm EST, just to give a heads up.
Also the Crysis franchise is currently $10 on Steam.
Amnesia: The Dark Descent (******* awesome game) is $5 on Steam, as is Bastion at $3.75.
Bioshock 1/2 and Left 4 Dead 1/2 are both 75% off at $10 and $7.50 respectively.

TL:DR Everything on Steam is currently cheap as ****.

Yeah, Steam does an annual Christmas sale that puts up ridiculous prices that generally starts like a weekish before Christmas and goes until about the end of the first week of January. I generally watch Steam and the Humble Bundles for insane deals.

Just beat CODMW3's campaign, it's maybe the shortest game I've ever played (this and Star Wars The Force Unleashed). It got a lot better, I enjoyed it very much. The ending was great too. Once again, Infinity Ward puts out a great campaign for us to enjoy, only no one chooses to 'cause they're too busy with the multiplayer.

Oh and by the way, it took me 31 hours to pirate it and maybe one hour to install it and I beat it in 4 hours and 44 minutes. Ugh what a waste of time. Still a good campaign, it just wasn't worth the wait.

You might not believe this, but I only bought MW3 to play campaign mode.

You might not believe this either, but my Xbox has no access to Live (I bought a router sometime ago, but was unable to install it - yeah, I'm that stupid).
