Haven't seen a thread on this so i thought I'd make one.


So what's Tapology playing?


I've been dabbling in a bunch of games but i keep going back to Uncharted 3,Black Ops 2 and BF 3 multiplayer.

GTA probably will be GOTY...but this Bioshock is nothing less than stunning. One of the best games in the last 5 years easily...

I got Bioshock when it came out and still haven't even opened it yet.

Just got Arkham City GOTYE  it looks like fun. the hand to hand combat reminds me of sleeping dogs from what i can tell.

And The Cave , It's pretty fun but I hear you have to beat a lot of the same stuff to 100% complete it so im sceptical to give it a good review yet. But it has pretty funny Narration reminds me of Bastion almost.

Im almost done with Farcry 3 . without spoiling the story , im half way done and it feels like i beat the game . I dont like how they did that but the game play is solid.

Now that Trials Evolution is fully released and not beta , there are a lot of custom maps to play . I recommend that one.

Edit: Arkham City used GFWL  DRM . the worst DRM ive ever encountered . hope it doesnt make me hate the game.

Been playing Madden since I got it about a week ago and It's pretty amazing.

Trading is confusing me though. I mean, I'm coaching Detroit and I'm thinking about trading Calvin Johnson. The best WR in the game yet I can't get two decent players and a relatively good draft pick (2nd/3rd round) 

I'm pretty new to Football in general so is that just a horrendously unrealistic trade? I am too many confuse brosss, u know?

A lot of the trades in Madden skew towards the computer. I remember being able to trade a 1st round pick for a 99 rated player, but when I wanted a draft pick for my 99 player, I would get ****. 2nd/3rd round like you said. You learn to deal with it.

If you're gonna play several seasons in franchise mode, exchange 1st round picks with a crappy team at the beginning of the season. If you can get a top ten pick, you can build that player into a guaranteed superstar.

Heard nothing but good things about all the Bioshock games but never gave them a go. really don't know why.

Thought the first Bioshock was a great game. It was somewhat creepy and very fun to play. I thought Bioshock 2 sucked.. Bioshock Infinite is good, but any 'horror' element from the first 2 games are gone here.

The only bioshock ive played is #2 and that was for like 20 min lol . I spent the first 3 days after i got it trying to get GFWL DRM to work right with my comp . Then when i finally got it working I think I was still pissed at what i had to go through to play it and i rage quit because i didnt like the lack of peripheral vision because your looking through a helmet lol . I should try it again some day , the new one looks awesome.

I'm about to finish New Vegas and Uncharted 3 and I'll probably be raping the PS3 this weekend so I'm thinking of buying another old, pre-owned game, I'd appreciate it if you guys recommend something.

I was thinking of something of the likes of Mafia2, Heavy Rain, GTA (which version?), or Crysis, Prototype, Infamous, etc. or anything different from the usual CODs, FIFA, UFC, etc.

Pls exclude: sports, cars and any COD.

from all the ones I mentioned those two are the ones I was dying to play since before they came out, I just never got to it. Even now I still hear great things about them. I'll take your word and I hope I find them at the store.

You need to realize what you're getting into with Heavy Rain though.. It's not a 'video game'.. It's different. As for Mafia 2 I thought everything about it was great. The shooting, the cover system, the driving, the missions, hell even the fighting mechanics. But unlike GTA and Saints Row .. there isn't THAT much to do once you beat the game. You should be able to find it for under $20 now, so it's well worth it.
