Mike Goldberg Pulled from UFC 155... Off to Rehab

Hey everyone, I just found this article. Thought some of you might be interested in this. "Goldie" is rumored to have a pill addiction to Adderall. Jon Anik will fill in his spot for the foreseeable future.

I really don't like speculating about things like this, even if it is true.

I just hope whatever Goldberg's issues are that he gets help and recovers. More importantly for his family then doing UFC events. I do however hope he does return.

He's been looking haggard for a while now.

I hope he gets better, but I don't really care who does the commentary, I barely listen anymore.

One time on the facebook prelims, they ****** up the audio and there was no commentary.  I actually liked it better that way.  I'm not knocking Rogan and Goldberg, but I've been listening to those two for years now, they don't have anything new to say.

apparently people are reporting he was walking aimlessly and shirtless in las vegas streets saying "that slapping sound is the foot, the thud is when the shin lands" .....and i'm kidding

the fact is many people walk the vegas strip shirtless, aimlessly and mumbling to themselves. i thought adderall was for kids?

I read on UFC Live (and I don't know how reliable this is but...) Mike Goldberg has actually been tested positive for steroids and has been suspended from UFC?  I am kind of relieved to find from reading your posts that it wasn't steroids, but still sad to hear that he is addicted all the same.  Hope he recovers.

UFC "office people" have to have the most abusers in a single company. With all the steroids,all the **** Joe does and now this. Dana is also still on steroids. When he was talking about steroids in the UFC he said that you always have to be on the **** if you start taking it........ and we all know Dana started yrs ago

I hope they all suffer from their arrogance  

This is kinda surreal, hope he gets back to normal soon, the UFC is weird without him.

This makes alot of sense, i believe the article. I work with someone who takes adderral and even on the medication he cant concentrate and remember jack ****, he has to right everything down.

I took adderall in college to study for finals. I can definitely see how people can get addicted to that.

I've grown to like Mike Goldberg over the years. Him and Rogan make a good broadcast team. Jon Anik has a different style. I don't think it's bad, he knows what he's doing but... something about his personality goes better with Kenny Florian (or Frank Mir or Stephan Bonnar) or any fighter. He can call the action, but he's not overly good at explaining the details of fighting... positions, attacks, techniques, etc. That's why Kenny Florian works because he can describe whats happening as it happens, Anik just recaps the action.  

I don't know how to explain it but Anik and Rogan just don't mix together as a broadcast team. It's kind of like if Showdown Joe Ferraro & Mauro Ranallo were on the same tv show... if that makes sense. I hope Goldberg's back soon.
