Kuivanen just squeaked by in his last fight against Mitch Clarke and Chiesa just won TUF. Kuivanen's weakness is wrestling so I'm taking Chiesa via UD.

This is such a great fight, I can't wait. Kuivanen is an awesome striker but he showed against Clarke that he's a pretty savvy grappler as well. If this fight is on the feet Kuivanen will take it but on the ground I think Chiesa will have an edge in a back and forth scramble-filled grappling match. Can't wait.

It's gonna be tough for Chiesa to get a sub on Kuivanen but it is definitely possible. However I'm gonna go with Kuivanen here due to experience.

Lots of hype coming on Chiesa. Fellow Tapologists seems to love him at 87% pick rate. I think this fight will be much closer and probably go to a decision. Chiesa has dominant yet weird grappling. He seems to drag and sink with his opponents à la Paul Sass. His submission game has been impressive but Kuivanen will have the skills to match it at the very least and the heart to fight on. Chiesa is also a slow starter. In every fight from TUF, he was losing the first round and getting hit with hard strikes and taken down. Overall I think he will pass the test in this one and grind out a decision but i'm not supremely confident in him.

Y'all are crazy. This will be all Kuivanen. Chiesa can't get him down, and will get battered on the feet. Even if it hits the mat, Kuivanen isn't a noob, he's only lost by leg locks, years ago. I don't recall Chiesa ever thinking leg lock.

Chiesa's got good heart and cardio but Kuivanen is just the better fighter. I could see Chiesa winning via takedowns but I think he'll get handled quite easily here.

Chiesa's stand-up is mediocre at best...but his Wrestling/GNP/Subs are very good and he seems to get it there somehow everytime.

Kuivanen has looked stiff and a bit nervous to fire in his previous 2 fights...I don't think he's elite enough in any area to combat Chiesa's wrestling/grappling.

Chiesas stand up is amateur, no offense, but that kid couldn't punch himself out of a paperbag. I also dont like the fact that he has gotten dropped by body shots several times. If he drops like he did when Lawrence kicked him in the soloplex and Mazzagati or Levine are reffing, expect an early stoppage...LOL
