lol rizla, that's worth a rec.

you could also say it's dancing with wolves in space... but i didn't like it for the story, it was the special effects and technology. unbelievable.

@greg, i know what you mean, i wouldn't say its my favourite film but i enjoyed it none the less

'Your Highness' was ok, wouldn't say its a great film but it had its moments... if you're a fan of Danny Mcbride its worth a watch (but i spose if you were a fan you'd watch it any way lol)

"UNOBTAINIUM"!?! When I first heard that, I cried because I remember how awesome 'The Abyss" and "The Terminator" are. Now James Cameron is reduced to a story/setting as bad as "The Fifth Element"...Even Gary Oldman couldn't make the "The Fifth Element" decent. Furthermore, making the Marines the bad guys of the movie (I know in the future they are a purchased company which is a stab at politics and how the wealthy can buy the government) but still you're calling them Marines, and anyone who would makes any branch of the US military into the villain is a turd. And if you're argument is that they are just following orders, then you didn't see how they were portrayed as aggressive, ignorant and arrogant, or maybe James Cameron was saying that people in the Marines are sheep and they'll do whatever they're told.

Fifth element was cool... better than your average sci-fi action movie. Abyss had the potential to be an all-time great, but then the ending with the underground city ruined it.

As for the marines being the bad guys, I dunno, didn't bother me. Just a space movie. And Quaritch was pretty badass.

i enjoyed the fifth element too and i'm not a huge sci-fi fan

btw @greg, not sure if its to do with the recent site maintainence but a lot of user profiles are giving me the 'Something went wrong (500)' error (yours included hence the comment here and not on your page lol) ... also CFA 2 is listed twice in the scroll along events bit at the top of the main page, its listed before and after Bellator 47.

@rizla yeah we know about the user profile thing. it is indeed related to the recent site maintenance. we should have it figured out soon.   as for CFA, it's just a weird quirk. since it's got the exact same start time as bellator, it doesn't know if it's before or after and shows it in both directions.

I always wonder in Robocop why Peter Weller's voice sounded like a robot even before he turned into Robocop and why the ED 209 squeals like a pig when it falls down the stairs

Just finished Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. Val Kilmer is pretty good in it.
