It's a sweet fight, but I think the size will be a problem for Henderson and that Fedor won't be overwhelmed like he was against Bigfoot.

Still waiting for official confirmation of the fight from Strikeforce before we switch it from rumored on tapology, but it sounds like this is definitely happening.

Fedor takes this anyway he wants. I have a lot of respect for Hendo, but Fedor is the greatest and without the size disadvantage he is unstoppable.

I am going to have to agree with alot of people on this thread. I love Hendo, he's defenetly still a game competitor. I think we are going to see a fast a vicious Fedor who is going to be extreamly hungry to get a win.

For some reason, I just feel Fedor will not be able to do much to Hendo.  Well, I could see Fedor subbing him on the ground maybe.

I don't know that I'd go that far, @gsp.  I think it's clear that Fedor is past his prime and isn't 100% interested in fighting and training anymore.

He's still very good and I think he can beat Henderson.

Finally an interesting fedor fight, i will def have to think of who to pick but aff the bat fedor must be the favorite due to weight alone. This will be a huge fight.

I think he can beat Henderson, but Fedor just isn't the same.  The contracted weight is at 220lbs.. so Fedor cuts 10-15 pounds.  I wonder what he'll look like cutting that little bit of weight.  I have to let this thought simmer for a little bit.

This should be a good fight. Everybody has been talking about Fedor being to small for the HW division now because of how big and skilled some of these guys are now. I think this fight will show if Fedor still has it or if hes at the end of his career.

@kalibo Fedor last weighed in at 230 even. So he only has to cut 10 pounds. A tiny bit of dieting and sauna work and he'll drop 10 pounds easily.  The way I look at it is that Henderson got the shaft on these weight negotiations. Fedor will be the exact same Fedor at 220 without problem.

Awesome I was really hoping they would make this fight happen.  It's a tough fight to call, but I'm thinking that Fedor's speed is going to be the difference.  Either way I expect this to be a war that goes the full 15 minutes.

This is at catchweight correct? I'll be siding towards Fedor easily. He's been squaring off with heavier guys than him for years. I don't think Fedor is hungry anymore. He's been through so many battles. So it's nice to see two of the best fighters in the world taking this fight. I have love for Hendo but Fedor is the GOAT.

awesome fight especially being close to home. i know fedor/m1 thinks this should be easier due to the size difference. but..........its HENDO!

Based on momentum I'm picking Henderson to win this.

If this is on the feet I won't like Fedor's chances. Hendo may not have the best striking but he does have a way of making sure that H-Bomb of his lands and if Fedor is hit with that its "good night Irene".

Fedor should take it to the ground if he wants to be Hendo in my opinion, but that may not be so easy due to Hendo being strong. Then again For someone like Fedor, it's not a difficult task.

Overall I see Fedor having trouble getting Hendo to the ground and being hit by that right hand of Henderson and losing his 3rd in a row.

If Fedor stops doing STUPID **** in the cage, he'll beat hendo. Fedor is his own worst enemy and his lack of placing value on positional domination has cost him. I love Fedor but he puts himself i bad  needlessly (like nick diaz) and in this sport if you don't evolve how you train and fight, you get beat.

@Soccer  Me too.  Hendo is going to have a huge advantage in the clinch game.  Fedor could catch him too though.  Dan has been rocked a few times over the last few years.. his chin may be fading!
