This is good news for those of us who have Showtime and are broke & can't afford any more PPV's.  Thank goodness the SF PPV plans are put on hold for now!  I think this is a good thing for the fans.

Interesting. I'm curious to see what happens here and later in the year. This would be the first Strikeforce event to be scheduled/created with Zuffa influence.

This is great news because I wouldn't have paid for it anyway and I don't think many people would.

I think they alienated a lot of WEC fans when they did the PPV and don't want to repeat that mistake again.

Was I the only one who still found it weird for a Strikeforce event to be advertised on a UFC PPV?

Anyway I'm really looking forward to the event. The Heavyweight tournement is pretty much a fantastic idea, something Strikeforce should think of doing once a year me thinks (and not just on the Heavyweights either).

hmmm.....i watch ufc on espn here in ireland,does that mean strikeforce will now be on espn....cause if so...i would very much like this... :)

I think strikeforce will be a distant memory 5 years from now. But I'm enjoying it while it's here.
