Prediction: wrong Noons   wrong Decision

This fight depends on if Noons can stuff the takedowns of Couture. Couture's wrestling looks better every fight so he could win this but right now I'm leaning towards Noons because of his solid takedown defense. If it stays on the feet Couture is screwed.

Noons has pretty good TDD. Just needs to keep this fight on the feet and he may even finish this.

I have Couture right now, but I may change. But Noons hasn't looked good in his last few fights, but Couture is young enough for us to see drastic improvements in his game in between fights.

Noons hasn't looked good against the cream of the crop in the organization, but he has faced stiffer challenges than has Couture. Ryan CAN win this fight, but the odds may not be forever in his favor.

Noons is content to be a one dimentional striker, and that will be his downfall if he makes it to the ufc.

This is likely a fight for a spot on the UFC roster so they should both be motivated but if noons isn't on point, couture could steal this.

I wish Ryan Couture was a high level MMA fighter like his Dad because it would be pretty cool to have MMA's first elite second generation fighter.  But it's not going to happen.

"I don't want to have to do this living. I just walk around. I want to be swept off my feet, you know? I want my children to have magical powers. I am prepared for amazing things to happen. I can handle it."

He's definitely never going to have the same sucess as his dad but they are certainly the most sucessful father/son duo. It will be even more impressive if Ryan makes it to the UFC too

Even if he loses to Noons and isn't brought over, I'd be willing to bet the UFC will sign him at some point down the line.

There's no chance the UFC won't sign him immediately even if he loses cuz he's little Couture.

Prediction: wrong Noons   wrong KO/TKO   wrong Round 2

Noons has pretty good takedown defense, is good in a scramble, and when he's on, he's a nasty striker.

He has much, much more experience than Ryan Couture, not only as a MMA fighter, but as a pro boxer and kick boxer.

Couture has developed a very good all around skill set, but he's not terribly athletic, and he's fighting a guy who has wins over Nick Diaz and Yves Edwards.

If Noons shows up with his A game, Couture might be a little out his league here.

I agree, his last name alone is gonna get him to the ufc reguardless if he wins or loses against noons. But the ufc wont be able to keep him around for long if he goes 0-3 and isnt even competitive. I think he would struggle with the bottom of the barrell ufc fighters at this point in his career.

Randy himself has said Ryan has better submissions than he ever did. When your dad was a multi-weight class champion, you'll have everything you need to become a great fighter. He's just gotta put in the work.

Ryan has a lot of room for improvement, but he looks better every fight so he could end up being a stud in the UFC.

I would like to see Couture win but I don't know if he can handle Noons' striking. That's if Noons performs at the top of his game.
