Six days after win at Jungle Fight, Edilberto ‘Crocotá’ is arrested at Bahia
Less than one week after defeating Nielsen Nunes at Jungle Fight 27, Edilberto ‘Crocotá’ de Oliveira was arrested at his hometown Salvador, Bahia, in Brazil. According to the local media, the fighter was involved in a melee with her ex-girlfriend and bite her cheek. The woman was taken to a hospital after part of her cheek was torn.
Edilberto went to the police station overnight with two lawyers and was arrested. Edilberto’s Boxing trainer, Luis Carlos Dórea confirmed the news to TATAME. “I’m heading to the police now to know more details, but he was arrested overnight. I’m very surprised, he was always a quiet boy”, he said.
