Talk about some of your favorite fights that most people probably don't even remember, or may have never seen. A recent UFC title fight would NOT be a good one to offer up!  Needs to be at least a little bit obscure.

My first one:  Takanori Gomi vs Luiz Azeredo (the first one)

Pure excitement, looked like Gomi was in trouble, and then what sweet knockout!!

See the pattern there.. McCullough brought it win or lose.  You gotta respect that guy.

@minotauro11 bad decisions happen all the time. hammil vs bisping and rua vs machida number 1 being up there. never leave it in the hands of the judges. it was a great fight though. i thought megumi won the decision too but i had 50 bucks on frausto at a +325 moneyline. i'm not complaining. been burned too many times.

Cerrone is badazz and i think in two years time that guy will have the ufc lightweight belt. he only needs his grappling to get better.

Gracie vs Kimo in the early days. Gracie was soo great that even though Kimo lost he took it as a victory that Gracie could not continue that night. That is when you had to fight three times in a night to get the Title.

@jeremy, love that fight, just went back and re-watched it. Two things I had forgotten:
1-Frank Mir is a horrible commentator. 2- If you get rocked and your mouthpiece comes out, just call time out. lol.

@michigan i think frank mir is a very good commentator.....he really helps you understand the grappling and bjj much more and really makes it exciting....but thats jus my opinion

i always thought mir was a pretty good commentator when he was doing wec shows. as far as i know he never talked down b/c the fighters were smaller than him. that can happen when your a heavyweight commentating on smaller fighters. he broke down the bjj moves so the casual fan could understand them.

All in all I liked Mir as a commentator. During the action is when he was at his best. But when they put the camera on him and let him go on tangents he was less effective.

@CashBrewyn, Arlovski / Sylvia 3 is most definitely in my top 5 worst UFC fights. It was craptastic!

I think Gregory and the gang should add a worst fights ever list to the rankings.

I agree about Mir being a good commentator.  I think he is good.  Sylvia vs. Moore is crap... just how it ended, how quick and how fat Sylvia is.

Martin Kampmann vs. Drew McFedries:  Holy Crap.  Drew McFedries was polaxing Martin, MK finally got it to the ground where he D'arced Drew out unconscious.  After the fight MK was asked about the opening minute and he said: THAT DUDE HITS ******* HARD!  Then he laughed. CRAZY couple minutes of action.

Edwin Figueroa vs. Michael MacDonald - That was Fight Of The Night at the last UFC with Phil Davis vs. Lil' Nog. Unfortunately, they didn't broadcast it, but apparently, it was a sick fight...

Sean Pierson vs. Matt Riddle was also a good fight people will probably not remember...
