Talk about some of your favorite fights that most people probably don't even remember, or may have never seen. A recent UFC title fight would NOT be a good one to offer up!  Needs to be at least a little bit obscure.

My first one:  Takanori Gomi vs Luiz Azeredo (the first one)

Pure excitement, looked like Gomi was in trouble, and then what sweet knockout!!

Shogun/Lil Nog is my number one, easily. Super competitive fight throughout.

And Fujita/Fedor is a really good one.

I just want to mention Manhoef/Cyborg one more time, that was a ******* great brawl.

Oh and Beerbohm/Healy from this year. My FOTY so far.

Evan Tanner/Phil Baroni 1

Evan Tanner was basically getting his ass kicked for 3 straight minutes, couldn't even find his own corner when they stopped to check his cut, got Baroni in the clinch, took him down and finished him with elbows in the first round. One of the best 1st rounds I have ever seen.

Jake Rosholt vs Chris Leben    Love it cause Rosholt put Leben to sleep in his hometown.  Leben spent a minute or two on the ground flopping around.

Ben Roethwell vs Cain Velasquez, Roethwell got pounded but it didnt seem that horrible, and Ben threw some good punches in the exchanges, also this was one of the worst stoppages in recent memory as Roethwell was declered TKO'd while he was standing up from the ground, frustrating yet memorable

i'll go old school. royce gracie vs kimo. gracie eventually won but could not continue in the tournament. plus he had to hold onto kimo's ponytail to pull out that fight imo. it was the first time you ever saw royce take some serious hits. i'll add another, tank abbott vs oleg taktarov. a very brutal fight and 99% of the fighters would have been ko'd by abbott's huge strikes to the face but oleg persevered and won.

Hidehiko Yoshida vs. Royce Gracie

Royce lost and then threatened pride into turning the fight into a draw. He threatened to leave the organization.

Sakuraba vs Newton from Pride 3.  Possibly the greatest MMA grappling match ever.  It's not that unknown, but it took place long enough ago (June '98) that some people may have forgotten about it, or never seen it.

This was the best I could do for a link.  It's not the whole fight, but is still pretty cool.
