The Canadian part of me wants to keep cheering for Nick Ring, but his performance against ***uda was hugely disappointing and he did not deserve to win it. Hopefully he just had a little rust and some Octagon jitters and we get to see a better performance from him this time around, but if not I hope James Head has an impressive UFC debut.

@Gregology, I can definitely get Ed West on Tapology, I already told him about it and he thinks its cool how you track picks, probably Chad Griggs too but trust me he's not the "computer type". Also my homegirl and accoplished collegiate wrestler/female mma fighter Brenna Larkin might join, but i've benn telling her for a few weeks and nothing yet :)

I like Ring as a person but people see him on TUF and think hes highly talented because he was on tv. He looked bad in the house and he looked bad in his last fight. I havent seen anything from him that really impressed me, and yes ive watched fights previous to TUF. He might be good on paper but he looks like the type of fighter that can have a fight taken from him very easily due to the lack of explosiveness and lack of aggressiveness. I think Head wins somehow, i just dont know enough about him so my pick is by UD.

@greg i tried to sign up dan hardy on twitter the other day because he was hating on sherdog and UG. :D Im not a fan of nick either but i think he'll get another decision here. His last one was a gift for sure but he might be the judges favourite again here even if he doesnt get dominated.
