Yea it was confusing.

Thanks, he one of my favorites. He puts on the craziest comebacks. I think he might be the one to break Kim. he won't give up like some of Kim other opponents who are getting smothered.  Kim has yet to face anyone who keeps coming like condit. Condit fights his all untill the last bell. That an X factor that can not be denied.  Only guy that comes close to this that Kim faught was Diaz, but even Diaz does not come at people the way condit does espcially in late rounds. Also Kim was given hell by Diaz (fight should have been a draw), and Condit is bigger then diaz (weight wise).  Kim going to have a much harder time laying on Carlos and Carlos does not seem to get tired, while kims shown to gas.

@franklin condit never giving up is something i def agree with, his fight with macdonald is a perfect example....he would have lost if he didnt finish rory in those last few seconds........Kim is good but he wont be safe wherever the fight goes and he'll be panicked into making a mistake and condit will capitalize!

also in the future condit is definitely a fighter that stands a much better chance against gsp than stun gun......

cosigned.

True, though Carlos would get wrecked as well by GSP. I honestly think he does not have the size to be competative with GSP. He make it interesting and exciting, but he get overwhealmed.  He needs to put on more size, I wonder what he walks around at, im assuming it not much beyond 180.

DHK takes the early going of this fight, but Condit comes from in the final round like he did against Rory McDonald.

I could easily see the winner fighting for the Title or at least the #1 Contender status

Both fighters have a lot of momentum and I think if the fight can stay standing and Condit can keep some distance he will punish stun gun either into a UD or a TKO. If Kim can use his size and take down Condit and wear him out in the 1st round then the next 2 rounds will be easy for Kim. I think the latter will happen and the stun gun wins it.

I wonder if Condit will be able to sprawl. He's training at a great camp, he's got to have improved it a lot since the Ellenberger or Macdonald fight.

P4p, I disagree strongly with this statement. When has Condit ever shown to fade? In fact he known for how much better he is in later rounds. He won't fade, there literally zero precedence for it. In fact what we have seen is the Kim, fades against aggressive submission fighters like Nick Diaz, now imagine a big stronger version of diaz, but also has insane levels of stamina.

i agree with you that condit gets stronger in the later rounds, just look at fights vs rory macdonald and jake ellenberger. i think condit wins this fight b/c he has incredible stamina and will win the decision.

I never said Condit would fade. His stamina is outstanding. I was saying that if Kim gets him down once he'll be able to not only keep him down but take him down again in the 2nd and again in the 3rd. If Condit stuffs the takedown attempt by Kim early then that fight will be a stand up war that Condit will win. Is that more clear?

I really like both of these guys, DHK will make this fight very frustrating for Condit. I think Carlos can and will create enough space to do some damage. Condit wins with crisp stand up technique.

I can see DHK winning by UD, but I think Condit has more ways to win. Condit has very good submissions, outstanding striking, and a heart that will never quit beating in any fight that he's in. I'm really hoping Condit wins this one.

Really I can see Condit catching Don with something early, or just coming out incredibly agressive to end the fight very early. I think if it goes past the 2 minute mark of the second round, the Stun Gun has this fight.

Condit is an exciting fighter and I love to watch  him and I'm picking him here, because he has some serious striking ability/power and is solid on the ground plus he is one of my favorite fighters in MMA, but I could see the Stun Gun controlling him throughout the fight to a UD

I used to dislike Condit, but he has grown on my since his fight with Rory. I think he wins this and hopefully is 1 win or less away from a title shot.

@t0rch I think the winner of this fight could get the GSP/Diaz winner, but might have to fight once more, because of how long it is from 137 right now

This is a great match. The winner is getting awful close to a title shot.
