Since it's a slow day in the world of MMA, I thought it would be cool to talk about Tapology and ourselves.. anything at all regarding the same. I'll get a brief start going..
I live in PA, am 30 and have been a fan of MMA since I was a teenager. Work for the railroad and rarely ever miss an event regardless of promotion/stature. I like Tapology b/c of the environment it fosters. I wish we could edit/delete our posts... maybe have categories of threads for the forums, but all in all, I appreciate the type of place this is thus far.

She went and got me a nice frame for my Shogun/Gustaffson autographed shirt that I just got in the mail the other day. And she also bought my a new computer!! She got me one of those HP's that the hard drive is built into the monitor! Pretty sweet little set up now I just have to get used to using windows 8!

I've really gotten used to using Windows 7 here at work which I really liked but Windows 8 seems pretty different. I'm sure I will get used to it, and it beats the hell out of my 10 year old computer!

The only thing that sucks is the random restarts, instead of freezing your computer the OS is just like '**** this' and automatically restarts...really annoying. Thank god it doesn't happen very much.

The app screen is pretty different but I prefer the desktop for now until I really learn how to use it.

Personally I got used to the Start Screen in a couple of weeks, I have no problem with it. The layout's real sexy too. It's Windows' attempt at being Apple-like and appealing to younger people with a sleeker, smoother design with little gimmicks.
