Since it's a slow day in the world of MMA, I thought it would be cool to talk about Tapology and ourselves.. anything at all regarding the same.  I'll get a brief start going..

I live in PA, am 30 and have been a fan of MMA since I was a teenager.  Work for the railroad and rarely ever miss an event regardless of promotion/stature.  I like Tapology b/c of the environment it fosters.  I wish we could edit/delete our posts... maybe have categories of threads for the forums, but all in all, I appreciate the type of place this is thus far.

Keep it up beast!

My internet went down last night and I was only able to make 4 picks for the M1 Challenge 25 event.  The picks locked an hour before start time :(

LOL @Jersey.  They are boring this season... I'm really surprised and I bet Dana is as well.  He was probably hoping for the WWE fan base to hop on the bandwagon and now he doesn't even have TUF fans watching.

OldManGloom is lying. My wife told him I was on this site, when they were sitting next to each other getting pedicures. He told me the next day, that he watched a bunch of Chuck Norris movies. ( he said his favorite was Sidekicks ) And now is ready to get into this MMA thing.

@Kalibo, yes there were 4.... and the 4th was undoubtedly the best one. 2 and 3 were straight garbage.

I haven't seen the 4th one yet... but I will.  I didn't mind 2 so bad, it gave the story line a major umph.

Well since it seems like we are talking a lot about our first experiences watching MMA here is mine. The first event I watched was UFC 1 (on vhs) I found it in a video store on a shelf that had a bunch of "special interest" videos on it right beside one of the Faces Of Death videos and this was back in '94 or '95 I think because I was still in High School and I couldn't drive yet. But I was instantly hooked and would pressure the people who ran the store into getting more of the events. The first PPV I remember watching was probably Couture vs Liddell 1 or at least that one sticks out the most.     The only reason I got to watch any of the events from '01 to '05 was because on of my friends had a bootleg satellite card and we could watch them for free (I probably shouldn't have told that). But during this time I wasn't watching religiously. I never got into Pride and now I wish I had because there was some great fights that I am just now getting to see. When TUF came on that re-ignited my passion for the sport and I started to get more PPVs. I remember watching the Gonzaga and Cro-Cop fight and waiting for the big kick to come and it did just not the way everyone expected.      Now I can't miss any event it feels like if I did the world would come to an end. Since Penn vs Sherk I have only missed two shows Bisping vs Leben and, Evans vs Silva. I have been to two live events Fight Night Live in Charlotte and, Live on Versus in Louisville which were both great. I almost bought tickets for the "Shogun" vs Rashad fight but Louisville is closer to where I live and I am not a big fan of Rua or Evans so I bought those instead. Then a few days later they announced that Rashad was hurt and Jon Jones was going  to get the title shot. On one hand I was happy that "Bones" was getting a title shot on the other I was sick to my stomach that I didn't have tickets to it. Now on the eve of the largest event in UFC history I am hoping that one day I can make it to watch a Title fight live or at the very least get to watch a live PPV. Heres to the sport we all love ....cheers!!!

I have the fourth one on bluray and loved it.  3 was pretty awful tho.

When I had heard that they were coming out with the last Terminator movie I was so pumped for it. When I saw The first one all I could think was I hope to crap they come out with a movie during the war in the future. Sadly though I think I hyped myself up too much for 20 years but it was still a great movie and I will watch it anytime!

Man.. you guys are making me want to On-Demand the damn thing right now.

@Darth.. Nice story there man...Funny how you found UFC 1 near the Faces of Death Vids back then.  Just goes to show you how the sport has changed for the better.  We all can thank Dana for that, whether we like him or not.

Wait...I'm confused. Are we talking about Rambo 4 or Terminator 4?
