I am surprised that no one has started this thread yet.

I know this is an MMA website but I bet that there are some Boxing Fans out there.

I just love the sport of fighting in general and I have been raised by boxing.

So in this Thread we can discuss the "Sweet Science"

such as

Upcoming Events
Favorite Fighters
and Historical Figures in the Sport

Because like MMA in the US, Boxing started out illegal. But where it took MMA less than 25 years to gain the General populations approval, It took boxing over 100 years.

Think about it this way: Ridiculous ******** like this creates work. Pointless work for Greg that benefits nobody and nothing at all, that he otherwise wouldn't have to do. We get away with a lot on Tapology. What will change that is Greg being driven completely insane by endless mopping-up of **** fights because at some point the benefits and ease-of-use of banning will outweigh the benefits of the rights of members to ****-talk.

Tyson Fury weighs in at nearly his heaviest weight at a muscular 273 lbs, shoes, shorts, and shirt on. (20 lbs heavier than first fight)

This is the biggest muscle wise I've seen Fury in recent memory, and this is what he said he was going for. His goal is to muscle around Wilder. He says that he has carried the weight for the past few months in training camp so he is used to the weight.

Wilder weighs in at his career heaviest at 231 lbs which is his most muscular physique. (14 lbs heavier than first fight)

Nevada athletic commission ruled that they couldn't face off at all. So they were like 20 feet apart.

For me the top 5 Heavyweights go like this.

1. Fury
2. Wilder
3. Joshua
4. Whyte
5. Ruiz

I still think Wilder can beat Joshua tbh.

Ruiz is the odd one because he is his own worst enemy in regards to work ethic, he's proven he can be a world beater, but in this game he became civilized. And that is what got him exposed in the Joshua rematch. I believe it was more the fault of Ruiz than more of an improvement of Joshua to be honest.

I just hope that Whyte eventually stops being held hostage as a #1 contender sooner or later. But we are so close to Undisputed for the first time in decades. In regards to WBC, WBA, WBO, IBF, and Lineal being under ONE champion hasn't been a thing since Tyson in the 1990s and that's because the WBO didn't exist then.
This could be huge for history.
