Pierce is certainly a good fighter, but I'm gonna root for my local talent.

A train gonna win this but this is gonna be harder fight then his original fight with Fitch .. in the clinch they are both pretty equal and wrestling evens out for the most part .. in the stand up A train is much better even though neither have stellar striking though .. how I see this fight playing out is Aaron Simpson using his striking and foot work with the occasional wall and stall and battle in the clinch edging out each round convincingly ..  I think A train is gonna come out with something to prove in this fight and will try to finish Mike Pierce .. but I still see this fight going to a decision lol

@MMA4LIFE00 Pierce has better striking then A train ?! lol I have not even seen Pierce strike .. everytime I see him fight I just see him in a clinch battle or pushing other guys against the fence and maybe throw 1 or 2 awkward strikes each round .. his fight with Paul Bradley was super close .. while A train had a super close fight Ronny Markes who out weighed simpsons by like 30 pounds on the day of the fight and A train rocked him the 1st round and almost finished him and in the clinch while Ronny markes was getting the better of him due to his massive size advantage .. it was a very close back and forth fight overall .

A train is the superior striker in this match up .. just my opinion though lol .. if he has a good weight cut he should win this pretty easily in my opinion

This fight is such a coin-flip. I feel like Simpson is the better striker though, and hopefully he'll avoid the prolonged clinch battles that have become Pierce's signature.

Pierce is a little more well-rounded but Simpson is a handful and the more accomplished wrestler. If this becomes a 3-round grappling match I like Simpson.

Historically, Mike Pierce has trouble with top-tier wrestlers. While Simpson uses his wrestling to grind decision wins, I'm not sold that he's amoung that same top-tier that gets the better of Pierce. Without tons of confidence, I'm going to just accept the fact that Pierce is a better fighter, and choose him for the win.
