So i've been noticing a disturbing trend that's been occuring from the fight camp of Team Alpha Male. They seem to only ever be coming up short when they get a shot at the belt. This trend was seen in Benavidez against Cruz, Mendes against Aldo, and worse of all Faber against a host of titlist since his fall from the featherweight belt. What's most unusual is that this team is full of studs, and no one besides the champion seems to be able to beat them, but once they get that shot at the title they always come up flat. I'm not trying to jinx this team, especially with Joseph Benavidez having a shot at the flyweight title coming up. But if he falls too, they may have to change their name to Team Beta Male.

Team alpha Male is the ****, in fact. I'm gonna be there live when the first ever flyweight champion and is crowned ... And waddaya know, the champion is gonna be from Team alpha Male.

There's a lot of fight teams out there in the world but only 8 UFC belts. Team Alpha Male are still amazing fighters, but at the moment Aldo and Cruz are the best in the world at their weight, and that's that.

At the moment they are more like Team Beta Male, but Benavidez should have a good chance of winning the title.

Add Dillishaw. Dillishaw walked through everyone on TUF then got knocked out for the TUF crown. Faber's lost 5 title fights since 2008. Benavidez lost two title fights. Mendes has lost 1 title fight. It's why I called them the perennial #2 camp for a while. However, I think that's coming to a close with the addition of the flyweights.

Ya, I don't see anyway that Mighty Mouse beats Joseph Benavidez. Don't see it at all. Mighty Mouse should've lost to Miguel Torres awhile ago, let alone Joseph Bena******videz.

dont get me wrong guys, I love this team. I mean if you look at my picks i've generally picked them to win all of their fights, including faber over renan and cruz, and i truly believe that benavidez has the best chance to win the flyweight tourney, and like i said no one one besides the champs seem to be able to beat them. I mean their all effective fighters, and finishers just look at benavidez over uri****ani, mendes over mckenzie, faber over bowles. These were all dominant wins that ended in the first round. And two of those guys were no. 1 dudes in their weightclasses not so long ago in bowles and uri****ani (don't know if i'm spelling his name right :p) but right now nova uniao just seems to be a little bit better than them when it comes to fighting.
