Not only that, they said he had 21NC on his record. He's been making a lot of mistakes :P

Missing weight, fighting at altitude, his opponent's home town, Cerrone must be feeling pretty good about all this.

I was actually rather tempted to join the other three people who chose Guillard by submission.  Seriously, ***?

Cerrone's 7-1 in his last 8 (only loss was to a red hot Nate Diaz in a great fight). Guillard is an incredibly athletic fighter that just can't put it together. While he seems to have finally worked on that submission defense, it might not be enough against Cowboy, who I think subs him anyway.

lol he could be Anik.  Diaz is definitely in the discussion for best Lightweight in the world and we should find out in a few months or so if he is for real the best.

@Wish

I've noticed that too actually, lol.

@WishIsHere yes.

@StickmanAndrw There's evidence that I've been saying Nate Diaz is the best lightweight since 2011. I predicted that he'd get a lightweight title shot in the last half of 2012 before he ever fought Donald Cerrone. I've been saying it about Nate Diaz forever now, and he's proven me right every time.

He's the best lightweight on the planet, now it's his job to prove me right once again.

The only way Cerrone looses this is if he decides to stand and bang the whole fight, and even if that happens its still not a guarantee for Guillard

Is there any other way to pick a Guillard fight but to end by sub in round 1?

I think Melvin is a big disadvantage here. Since these are both Jackson's mma guys, only one of them is going to get the best help and cornermen, and I have a feeling Cerrone gets preferencial treatment.

No?

Cerrone trained in Colorado with his old camp for this fight, Guillard trained with the Blackzillians in Florida.
