I would like to see Wandy fight again maybe a couple of more times, at first I thought win or lose he was retiring, now I'm not sure, I definitely would like to see him fight again, but he clearly is not the same fighter that he was years ago, he's had a long career with epic battles and has the marks to show for, so with that said what's next for him retirement? or one last final epic battle, and who could he fight that was according to his status but his actual condition also???
I think  Belfort, Cote and Boetsch are good options, Cote and Boetsch fight soon so they could fight again late this year and Belfort will also be ready then

The UFC still wants him to re-match Vitor.  Their hope is the Brazil card in October for that fight.

I say give him Cote if Cote defeated Le in July. I'm not sure he deserves the Vitor fight coming off a loss, but I'd pay to see it. 

I really hope they scheduled Franklin vs. Bisping for October though.

I get the appeal for a Vitor/Wand fight but honestly Wand didn't really deserve that fight even before his loss to Franklin. I think if Lombard beats the barbarian I'd like to see Vitor fight Lombard. Cote vs Wand would be an awesome fight and it would be better for the division.

If the Vitor fight happens next, I don't think there will be another Wandy fight after..

If the Vitor fight is not next, I don't really know. It's hard to see a legend of the sport fall from the top tier of the division.
Future doesn't look very bright for him.

Costa? If he wins his fight with ***uda. That would be nice.

I don't really see anyone else right now

I'll take Dana saying, "It definitely won't be against Vitor"  over Zelnick saying, "I think that's in the plans – to try and make that fight happen."

B/c everything Dana has said has happened?  I'm just saying, it is not out of the cards.  If another exec is bring that up to the media, it was obviously discussed... therefore... possible.

I'm torn on the possibility.  I have to let everything sink it, but it would be kinda weird to have Rich back at 185 making a last title run and then Wandy facing Vitor after that loss.

I don't care much for Wand to fight Vitor and I think Belfort is better ranked right now, I'd like to se Wand vs Cote the most or Boetsch when he lose to Lombard, Costa I guess it could happen and that'd be fun to watch

IF I had things my way then Id put Wanderlei on the Toronto card ... just so I can see hi mfight live. Then have him on a Japan card where he retires. But regardless, I look forward to his next fight!

even before wand loosing this weekend i thought it was a step down for vitor to fight him, running from crocop (september 2006) he's 3-7.
over that same time frame vitor is 7-2, vitor deserves someone more relevant.

I'm still bummed Belfort/Silva didn't happen and when Silva had Franklin hurt in the 2nd I wasn't thinking "yes Wanderlei is going win" i was thinking "yes that fight still could happen!"

When Silva almost had Franklin in the 2nd man ... I had 1lb of crap in my pants, and I made my GF very mad, she was trying to sleep ... I kind of ruined that ... She heard me and I was 1 floor below her. I was FLIPPING out!
