Is every amateur 155lbs in Quebec scared of Alex Morgan?

Alex Morgan (12-1-1) is the best amateur lightweight in Québec, no doubt in my mind.

He will have one last amateur fight May 26th for the best amateur promotion in Québec, Victory MMA, and then he'll turn pro.

 

They can’t find anybody to fight him... Is everybody scared of him??

Last week Didier Brassard showed a lot of courage when he took a fight against Morgan on a couple days’ notice, in what was only his second MMA fight.

Alex Morgan is a big name, Victory MMA is the best amateur promotion, it's the main event and it's for the lightweight title… that’s a huge opportunity! Who will step up and take the fight?

15 fights before going pro is kinda alot but yeah...some great Canadian prospects right now.

Multiple gyms around my area won't let their fighters turn pro until they fight 10 amateur bouts.  As long as you're not taxing your body by cutting a lot of weight as an ammy, or taking a beating in your fights, it shouldn't take too much of a toll.  I don't get why some amateur fighters cut a lot of weight.  If you're gonna strain your body that hard at least get paid for it.

Canada is the mecca for MMA. I dc what you say. Yeah Brzil its popular, but thats because they love Brazilians. Canada sells out weigh ins and areans for 2 brazilians fighting. We have a population of ~35 million, relatively insane.

Joe Elliott (2-1) will take the fight! He'll face Alex Morgan for the Victory MMA lighweight title!
