Alex Morgan Wiki

Alex Morgan ended his amateur MMA career with a record of 11-1-1 and won 3 lightweight titles (Victory MMA, Gladiateur MMA and Ring Extreme). Training under Pascal Chambodie at the Gladiateur Fight Club in Sorel, Quebec, Canada, Alex Morgan was widely consider one of the best amateur lightweight in Quebec, winning multiple fights by first round submission.

After his Victory MMA amateur lightweight title defense against Joe Elliott, Morgan decided to end his amateur career and signed a 5 fights contract with Instinct MMA. He was set to make his debut in October 2012, but unfortunately Instinct MMA cancelled the event.

Alex Morgan signed with Challenge MMA to make his pro debut on May 11th against Tommy Cote (3-4), a much more experienced fighter.

Starting his career as a ground oriented fighter, Alex Morgan became well-rounded as he worked very hard on improving his standup skills, making him dangerous no matter where the fight takes place.
