Quick notes to help with facts:
-Frank Mir is #2 after Tim Sylvia in title bouts.
-Tim Sylvia had 8 bouts for the title (including interim).
-Josh Barnett is a top grappler as well.

I'm not sure about Mir's wrestling thb. His takedown seem to be more clinch oriented with judo throws (against Nelson comes to mind). Having to get into the clinch alone is a horrible idea for Mir because JDS is just gonna be waiting for him to close the distance and counter it pretty easy, due to JDS's speed. Other than Arlovski and JDS I don't think the UFC has had a really good/fast/lighter technical champion. Also JDS's has pretty darn good scrambling ability which will give Mir problems.
