Eric Bradley entered his MMA career as a top prospect with his Penn State wrestling background. In 2013, Bradley competed in Bellator MMA's reality television series, Fight Master. He entered the competition defeating Tom Gallicchio utilizing his wrestling. Bradley selected Greg Jackson as his head coach, and was ranked at #7 out of 16. He scored a big upset victory in the elimination round against #4-ranked AJ Matthews. Again, Bradley used his superior wrestling to take a unanimous decision. Despite the victory over the #4 fighter, Bradley was moved to #6 out of the 8 remaining fighters, with coaches citing his one-dimensional style and lack of finishes. However, Bradley would defeat Joe Williams for a spot in the semi-finals, again by wrestling-heavy unanimous decision. Bradley's run would end there though, as Mike Bronzoulis scored a surprise TKO victory for the spot in the finals.
