Bertrand Amoussou Wiki

Bertrand Amoussou was born 29th May 1966 in Dakar, Senegal.

Traditional Martial Arts

Amossou learned Judo and Karaté from his father, and earned a Blackbelt in Judo, a national championship, and was part of french Judo team for 10 years, winning a bronze medal in the 1990  European Championships.  He is also won the Jujitsu Combat World Championships three times. 

MMA Career

Amoussou had only two fights in MMA, losing the first one by rear naked choke, and win the second bout via KO in the second round against Rao Rao. He is the only frenchman to ever win a bout in Pride Fighting Championships history. 

He is now training his younger brother, Karl Amoussou, at "Haute Tension" gym.
