I gave Diaz the 1st & the 5th Condit the 3rd & 4th and I was not really sure who won the 2nd. Got to rewatch it...

I was waiting for you Bass, well at least he didn't get KO'd in 12 seconds like your favorite fighter. And you're exactly the type of girl that posts "U Mad"...

Condit wasn't scared, "homie".

Hope you weren't too busy sucking Diaz's nuts to watch him get beaten. :)

The judgin in the UFC is scored based on Striking, Grappling, Aggression, and Octagon Control right?

Striking: Condit, yes he outlanded Diaz
Grappling: Diaz got the takedown and took Condits back late in the fight
Aggression: Nick Diaz went after it the whole fight while Condit ran
Octagon Control: Diaz had Condit backing up the entire fight and going sideways, Diaz clearly had the Octagon Control.

How do you score that fight for Condit? Did you just start watching the sport yesterday?

man there are a lot of angry people here tonight. it was a good fight. i have diaz the fifth round and maaayyybe the first, but condit i think had 2, 3, and 4. he had a great game plan of not letting diaz trap him. it may have seemed like running, but he wasn't going to sit there and let diaz do his thing. he moved away and got back to the center of the octagon. GSP was gonna beat either of them anyway.

@Mike Octagon control went to Condit. Condit controlled where the fight was, by keeping it off the cage. You clearly don't understand the concept of Octagon control correctly. If Diaz had octagon control, Condit would have been against the cage the whole fight. Also, this is on a round to round basis, so the only grappling that mattered was the end of the fifth, and the failed takedown attempt in an earlier round. Aggression, Diaz does take, but counter-striking should be taken into account. So overall, Condit did win.

Carlos Condit that won tonight as much as I hate to say it, won't beat GSP.

The Carlos Condit that showed up tonight was not a Carlos Condit I recall ever seeing before. I remember him being an aggressive banger that went into fights looking to end them before they really get started.

I honestly think this fight was a draw but whatever.

Yeah I wouldn't say Condit exactly controlled the fight. He let Diaz try and control it, and out-pointed him as Diaz tried to corner him.  He basically ceded "control" in order to work his gameplan.

Condit 48-47 according to FightMetric.  It's not the final word on fight scoring, but it's a very good tool and one more indication that yes, Condit deserved the decision.
