Branch might be good enough to defend submissions, but I think that's about all he'll be able to do. Paul Harris is a terror to anyone on the ground. I hope after he dispatches of Branch he can fight Maia, would be an amazing grappling match.

The key to victory for Paul Harris is to catch Dave Branch with an early submission because I think Rousimar tends to fade a bit as the fight drags on. Dave Branch just needs good enough submission defence to survive the initial onslaught before taking over the fight with better conditioning. Tough fight to call because I can definitely see Rousimar catching some kind of leg submission, but I'd imagine Dave Branch will be well aware of that and is a BJJ black belt himself so he'll probably have the smarts to avoid putting himself in that kind of situation.

Awesome fight. Branch is a great jiu-jitsu guy, but that might not save him from the leg locking skills of Toquinho. Branch should have the striking and wrestling advantage, and will probably look to keep the fight standing. I think he can do it, but if it hits the floor, Palhares' unorthodox jiu-jitsu is tough to handle.

I changed my pick to a first round submission for Paul Harris. I definitely believe it'll be that or a decision win for Dave Branch. But right now my gut feeling is telling me that Rousimar is going to catch Dave in something before the first round is up.

Branch has a better chance than many are giving him, but not enough for me to pick him. Paul Harris gets back on track, but I see him doing it with something other than a leglock, which Branch has probably focused on exhaustively.
