i really really dont like kos.
im sure theres plenty of fighters thinking that gsp out the equation benifits them, fitch must be thinking it. but to say that in public/media, thats harsh and uncalled for.

He knows his only chance at a belt is if GSP is gone or GSP loses a step because of a real bad injury. Never liked Kos and this makes me like him even less.

In my eyes, the only great thing Kos ever did was KO Matt Hughes.

I do agree though that he thinks the crown might be up for grabs now that the king is out of town.

I think people are taking him a little too serious. If you read between the lines, he is complimenting GSP. He is basically saying GSP is on a completely different level than everyone else, and (jokingly) says his ACL injury will put him on everyone else playing field.

I think he was talking with his tongue in cheek.  Sort of kidding.  But it still was an ignorant thing to say.  To wish ill on another man's health and career is ignorant and unbecoming.

Reminds me when Frank Mir said he hoped Brock Lesnar got injured in the Octagon.  Or caught Aids or something.  This level of over-competitive nonsense does not speak well for our sport.  Outside the Octagon, they should all be at least friendly rivals.

I like Koscheck, mostly because I think he really is a great fighter. However, he does come across as a ****** a lot, but I'm never really surprised by any thing he has to say. I kind of just expect him to be a ****, but I still root for him half the time.

I used to totally dislike him too, lol like when he peed in Leben's bed and they had their drunken drama. I guess he's grown on me.

I used to hate Kos, but he's really growing on me. The guy can hype a fight and is sincere afterwards. By saying he hopes GSP doesn't come back is a HUGE compliment. He knows he'll never get another shot at GSP and i'm not sure he wants another shot at him anyways. He did say it would "even out the playing field". . . . .
