I mean, the thing is Jones had some terrible fights vs OSP, Santos, Smith, and a lot of people did think Reyes won. It was hard to tell what Jones was going to show up, and the fact he chose to use steroids against DC in their rematch, I do not consider that at all a legit victory. No the steroids didn't knock DC out with a headkick and follow up punches, but it still taints his legacy because if you get caught cheating, it's pretty much a given you cheated before or will cheat again.

I liked Aspinall's clear two step call out of Gane-Spivac then Jones, but does beg the question where that leaves Pavlovich. Who will probably be the backup for the title fight again, and is in the top spot. If he waits and gets the winner of this, that puts Aspinall like a year out. Will Jones even still be fighting by then? Beats Stipe, fights Pavlovich, then Aspinall? I'd like to see it. But yeah, he shouldve tried to lure Pavlovich out with a call out, beat him, then gets Jones.
