I find it strange that people talk about KK's grappling like she's going to go out and put on a wrestling clinic against Belbita. KK has 0.31 TDs per 15 minutes with a 30% accuracy, across 15 UFC fights.
She was credited 2 TDs vs Silvana who has a TDD of 30% and if you watch the fight she basically took herself down, a stiff wind will topple Silvana.
You think she is going to spend all the time of the fight in the clinch against the cage alternating between singles and doubles? That would be a first ever.

Dawson vs. Green
Grant Dawson, SUB, R3
Dawson gets the back and earns the RNC. Green will put a decent fight for 2 rounds, but eventually be overwhelmed.

Pyfer vs. Razak Alhassan
Joe Pyfer, TKO, R2
Pyfer has a really crispy hands and is absolutely massive for middleweight. I think earns a powerful knockout.

Morono vs. Buckley
Joaquin Buckley, TKO, R3
Morono is tricky vet with an average chin. New Mansa has pop on his shots and I think can catch morono. I can see Morono winning a decision tho.

Dober vs. Glenn
Drew Dober, TKO, R2
Ricky Glenn doesn't look that white, right???? I think Dober with put his brother out in the first round with hooks.

Lins vs. Cutelaba
Ion Cutelaba, TKO, R1
Cutelaba gets this old man outta there with ease. I think this is easy for him.

Algeo vs. Hernandez
Alexander Hernandez, TKO, R2
I'm taking the slight underdog in King Kong. I think he just has a bit more to offer, 29-28.

Kowalkiewicz vs. Belbiţă
Karolina Kowalkiewicz, DEC
Women. Take the favorite by decision.

Munoz Jr. vs. Aoriqileng
Aoriqileng, DEC
Taking mongolian dude. He has some dog in him and think he has some needed time off. 30-27.

Murata vs. Demopoulos
Kanako Murata, DEC
Women. Take the favorite by decision.

Maness vs. Mendonça
Mateus Mendonça, DEC
Maness is cheeks. Idk who the other guy is.

De La Rosa vs. Aldrich
Montana De La Rosa, DEC
No idea. De la Rosa sounds cooler.

@DamienHandel420
I think Algeo and Hernandez could still be a relatively good scrap. That was actually one I've went back and forth on. Probably sticking with Algeo just because idk how much faith I have in Hernandez at featherweight. It's weird he's dropping back down after looking pretty good vs. Miller at lightweight in his last fight. I know that was short notice, but still.

Love Algeo so much more but I think Hernandez is a horrible matchup only thing is it's at Featherweight and Hernandez might only have 1 round of cardio.

While I agree Alhassan shouldn't be a +300 underdog, problem is Khaos Williams hit Alhassan with such a lazy telegraphed straight right and floored him easy.

Pyfer has such clean boxing and his straight right hand/cross is what has set up his last 2 KO's and is his most dangerous weapon.

I rather bet Abdul 1st round or 1st round ko because that the only way he wins, And you most likely get a 10 to 1 bet minimum

I don’t know if it bet it, but that bet has a lot of value if it 10 to 1

When did KK ever wrestle? If an opponent falls over she will take top control, tell me when she ever wrestled? You realize she tries for on average 1 TD per 15 minutes and succeeds 3/10 times?

It's perfectly fine to believe KK will beat Belbita on the feet even though it's an 11 year age gap and Belbita is aggressive and has a higher striking output. I just don't get the wrestling angle.

the point I think he's trying to make is that Belbita's takedown defense, wrestling and overall grappling are all soooooo bad that Karolina doesn't actually need to "wrestle" to take her down. for example, Karolina doesn't really need to have an entire gameplan formulated around closing the distance, clinching up, working a double leg, and what if the double leg fails? okay i'll switch to a high crotch single etc etc etc. they're inevitably going to clinch up eventually during the fight because its WMMA and Belbita is so bad that she's either going to fall down on her own or the opening for a takedown is going to be so blatantly obvious that Karolina is going to instinctively take it.

If that is the hypothesis that makes sense, that's at least a plausible angle for grappling being a big factor. I don't agree because I don't think KK is in any way markedly better than Belbita, I fail to see the evidence for that. She's just a boomer so she's fought anyone that ever had success in the sport (and lost to all of them) and of course that's a lot of experience to have which is a good thing for her.

Belbita will probably never be great because she doesn't improve much from fight to fight, it's a question of metrics for me. 11 years younger and higher output + fairly big dog in a WMMA match that probably goes to a decision is a good basis for betting as can easilly be seen if you check past results.

I'm not sure UFC_1 was thinking along those terms though, he said earlier in the thread that he can't conceive of Belbita winning the fight.

I mean, I don't think he's wrong about Belbita, she's absolutely terrible. The age difference is the only thing in her favor and that's a massive question mark as to if it will even matter. You brought up KK's losses but at least the majority are to decent WMMA fighters. Belbita is out here getting smoked by de Paula, McCann, and Lipski. And I don't think Kowalkiewicz loses to any of those fighters.
