@duck I don’t doubt that it’s real, Cody’s body is falling apart recently. He said in his last fight his right arm and neck went numb after landing that first takedown against trevin. That’s just a sign he should hang it up, first it was the chin now his body just can’t handle doing mma anymore. Pretty sure he said he had some neck issues too

Aljamain Sterling, SUB, R2
I'll admit that my confidence in Sterling has come down considerably as we enter fight week, but with that said, I just don't see him losing this one. My main concern for him is the speed & creativity of O'Malley on the feet, and his ability to create openings when there aren't any. Sterling is as unorthodox as they come, but there's a huge skill disparity in the striking department that won't be fixed, or even alleviated, by the grappling threat that he presents. Aljo will find a way to open up the back against the fence like he always does, and when he does that - the fight is as good as over. I'll take Sterling to lock in an RNC late in the first or early in the second.
Zhang vs. Lemos
Weili Zhang, SUB, R3
Lemos is fighting a very similar style here: measured aggression. Zhang is just way better in every aspect at implementing it. I don't see her struggling all too much here, though I can't ever be too sure and have it burn my ass in the future.
Vera vs. Munhoz
Marlon Vera, DEC
Two slow starters; Vera will creatively employ his muay thai in order to lay a smackdown on Munhoz. I think we'll see improved defensive awareness from his last fight, which will only aid him here in addition to the fact that he's more durable and tactical overall than Munhoz.
Magny vs. Machado Garry
Ian Machado Garry, TKO, R1
Magny is a beast for taking this. Unfortunately, he's getting iced.
Weidman vs. Tavares
Brad Tavares, TKO, R1
Is there any reason to pick Weidman? Tavares has solid TDD, is the much fresher fighter at this comparative stage in their careers, and he's a well-versed striker. He seems like he'd have been a tough matchup for Chris even a few years ago.
