Garbage prediction. It’s obvious Yair’s gameplan is to run at Volk, jump into an Omoplata submission immediately and repeatedly headbutt the top of Volk’s bald-ass head from bottom. Clearly you haven’t watched tape.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 9 of 13 Winners, 2 Perfect, 515 Points   |   Tied for 949th

Volkanovski vs. Rodriguez
Alexander Volkanovski, DEC
i think yair will look good early and have his moment, just not sure it'll finish volk before he gets into his groove.

Moreno vs. Pantoja III
Brandon Moreno, DEC
moreno still probably would like to avoid scrambles, but he has probably "leveled up" more than pantoja has since their last meeting.

Whittaker vs. Du Plessis
Robert Whittaker, DEC
rob's movement is probably good enough to overcome ddp's range.

Hooker vs. Turner
Dan Hooker, DEC
jalin can win this if he can change up where the fight takes place, but i feel like this is gonna be mostly a kickboxing battle and i'm not sure he really wants to be trading with someone pretty slick like dan, especially after a rough weight cut. wouldn't mind being wrong though because turner is one of the most interesting frames in this division and has a pretty nice rick-flip.

Nickal vs. Woodburn
Bo Nickal, SUB, R1
let's just hope val can force some striking exchanges

Lawler vs. Price
Niko Price, TKO, R2
thinking robbie comes in patient, starts falling behind looking for counters, starts to go into dogfight mode, lands big, gets tired going for it, and then gets finished after.

Cháirez vs. Taira
Tatsuro Taira, SUB, R2
maybe edgar can force the striking, but having a common opponent in aguilar and the given results i think it's more likely that taira drags it down at some point and stays there.

Jauregui vs. Gomes
Yazmin Jauregui, DEC
gomes figures to oblige yazmin in a kickboxing fight where i think i favor yazmin's speed combinations over gomes' tenacity.

Crute vs. Menifield II
Alonzo Menifield, DEC
minus the point deduction, alonzo had a decision last time out so i'm gonna go with that.

Petrino vs. Prachnio
Vitor Petrino, TKO, R2
prachnio has looked better than his early ufc fights, but still seems a little chinny and petrino seems to have the power to make him pay on over-commitments.

Saaiman vs. Mitchell
Cameron Saaiman, SUB, R2
low confidence in mitchell, didn't look good on tuf years ago and hasn't seemed to kicked it into another gear since.

Ross vs. Aguilar
Jesus Aguilar, SUB, R2
the quality of ross' wins are mediocre, not many guys coming off wins or fighting guys with good records. he's gonna have to crack aguilar early to get respect and i can't put my pick on that.

Kirk vs. Ribovics
Esteban Ribovics, DEC
this pick makes no sense since ribovics has never won a decision and kirk is 1-4 on scorecards, but i guess i feel like esteban's aggression will score early though it won't be enough to get the finish.

I know everyone got Bobby knuckles for the W but that’s the one upset I see happening! Moreno v pantoja could be a barn burner someone’s going to sleep or tapping. We all know Bo gonna win. Saiiman subs Taira subs and I say Dan Hooker tkos turner. Get ready this card is worth the price tag this time

You are 100% right. Dricus always seems to find a way to survive. He is harder to kill than a ****roach and Rob hasn't really shown much finishing potential. The reason I think we could see a finish here is that when Dricus gets in trouble he usually goes to his grappling. That won't work against Rob who is a better wrestler. And if Dricus slows down as I expect him to, he will become more wild and I can see Rob just picking him apart and perhaps finishing him with a head kick or elbow as his hands drop. I just feel this one could finish.

I think you guys are under estimating Kamuela Kirk. True he has not shown off his potential yet, but I feel that is coming. And at least in this fight he has the clear grappling advantage should he choose to use it. I think he is a lot better than is being given credit for. This fight will tell us a lot.

The other thing is that I think Dricus will just push forward, and swing. And Rob is a fantastic counter striker. I just see him catching Dricus at some stage.

Whittaker vs. Du Plessis
Robert Whittaker, DEC
Either Whittaker gets clipped or puts up a common striking masterclass. I’m going with the latter.

Hooker vs. Turner
Jalin Turner, DEC
It’s really sad to say this but Hooker isn’t the same anymore.

Lawler vs. Price
Robbie Lawler, DEC
This is gonna be a certified war but I do think Lawler will either win on the cards or get brutally finished.

Cháirez vs. Taira
Tatsuro Taira, DEC
Tatsuro Taira = future UFC champion

Crute vs. Menifield II
Alonzo Menifield, TKO, R2
Crute gets chinned again.

Petrino vs. Prachnio
Vitor Petrino, DEC
I guess I was wrong about Petrino lol

Ross vs. Aguilar
Jesus Aguilar, DEC
Ross is the worst UFC signing since Martin Sano.

Kirk vs. Ribovics
Esteban Ribovics, TKO, R1
I did think Kirk was ok in LFA but Ribovics is a savage.
