Event Salaries: Strikeforce: Rockhold/Jardine

headlineing, defending his title and only the third highest earner? Rockhold needs to have words with his management 

I dont know most of those payments seem pretty reasonable.  As always i wish a lot of those guys at the bottom were getting a bit better pay, but its not bad.  

Rockhold is coming back after a long layoff before he won the belt.  His pay probably got pumped up a bit for winning the belt, but hes probably still on an old contract.  His pay will go up soon.

Lawlor has been with the company for a long time and hes a draw. His pay is right around what i think it should be, but i also think he should be getting a win bonus, even if its a small bump like 10grand.  Win bonus should be a must for everyone.

oh definitely, its an extra motivation. 

@wilflet exactly.  You get the same pay for showing up as you do for winning, you arent overly inspired to go out and do your best.  Win bonus even if its small is a good thing, and combined with the "of the night bonus" is pretty good inspiration. 

i think the of the night bonuses have a great effect on prelims, you can tell a lot of the guys on the lowest pay have no interest in grinding out a boring decision- because the fight of the night bonus is ten times the win bonus, why wouldnt you aim for an epic war

And we as fans love an epic war!!
