I assume it's because he pulled out of a bunch of fights in the past.  I think he pulled out day-of twice.

I wouldn’t say Lins is a can. He’s not the most exciting fighter but he just beat OSP, who fought an incredibly entertaining and violent fight recently. You can’t take that away from him

. Last I heard, it was supposed to be the featured bout of the first episode this year. So it would have, the showcase fight, half of the opening round fights, the final for last season.
