Kamaru Usman, SUB, R3
I feel like Usman will want to show he can win a different way. Colby might not want to stand with the "new/improved" striking so opportunities could be there. Colby was once guillotined by Warley Alves. It was awhile ago but he left his neck open for so long. Yikes
Namajunas vs. Zhang II
Weili Zhang, TKO, R3
Can't believe i'm picking another Wittman to lose, but i'm biased towards Weili so don't follow this lol. I love her being at fight ready. Rose seems less effective as the fight weigns, Weili just has to get there and be relentless. Her fave fighter is Tony & she named her dog after Fedor and i adore her <3
Edgar vs. Vera
Marlon Vera, TKO, R3
3 ko losses in his last 6 for Edgar (someone else said this too ha). I know Vera isn't the most powerful, but he's very mean
Gaethje vs. Chandler
Michael Chandler, SUB, R1
I think Chandler is smart enough to avoid standing with Gaethje too much, and he's still explosive enough to get him down
Iaquinta vs. Green
Bobby Green, DEC
If Green gets robbed of another decision, i'm throwing my phone across the room (angry face)
Hawes vs. Curtis
Phil Hawes, TKO, R1
I thought Hawes should've been given the Strickland fight, he was the best available mw when Rockhold cancelled (and Winn cancelled the same day vs Hawes). He isn't from nyc, but nearby north jersey so Hawes by ko ;)
Shahbazyan vs. Imavov
Edmen Shahbazyan, DEC
I don't think Imavov is on Brunson or Hermansson's level.
Villante vs. Barnett
Gian Villante, DEC
This pick makes me sad because it means we won't see Barnett dancing in the middle of msg :(
Jacoby vs. Allan
Dustin Jacoby, DEC
He's so strong
Baghdasaryan vs. Souza
Melsik Baghdasaryan, TKO, R2
It might be tricky. Souza missed weight but didn't look drained, i just think Melsik is a better striker and will need to pressure him because Souza probly has better cardio. Souza is evasive on the feet but that also limits his offense so i guess Melsik. Souza looks so different with his head shaved.
Vergara vs. Osbourne
C.J. Vergara, TKO, R2
Not sure. 8 of Ode's 9 wins are 1st rd finishes. 4 by sub and Vergara has been subbed before. Vergara seems to have a great thai-clinch and thrives in the pocket, but has to be careful on the ground if Ode pulls guard or something.

Casual New Predictions
Predictions: 10 of 12 Winners, 6 Perfect, 650 Points | Tied for 1313th
I tap Dustin Jacoby at -390. He has a passionate bicycle kick. Jacoby will likely finish the natural order.
Baghdasaryan vs. Souza
I finger Melsik Baghdasaryan at -350. He has a brackish bolo punch. Baghdasaryan isn't about to elevate the TV audience.
Burgos vs. Quarantillo
I favor Shane Burgos at -200. He has a jarring ground and pound. Burgos will likely undress the Octagon.
Vergara vs. Osbourne
I select Ode Osbourne at -185. He has a genuine stamina. Osbourne will likely handle the opposing forces.
Hawes vs. Curtis
I tap Phil Hawes at -310. He has a jinxed check hook and an automatic guillotine. Hawes ought to best the crowd noise.
Michailidis vs. Pereira
I am sniffing Alex Pereira at -250. He has an odd fight IQ. Pereira shall guess the humiliating defeat. It's a lock!
Williams vs. Garry
I am loyal to Ian Garry at -375. He has an ironic hammerlock. Garry must neutralize the adversary.
Villante vs. Barnett
I am taking Gian Villante at -130. He has an exhaustive hammerlock. Villante is about to prove the crowd noise.
Iaquinta vs. Green
I tap Bobby Green at -185. He has a zen anaconda and a gauche clawhold. Green shall penetrate the deed.
Edgar vs. Vera
I prefer Marlon Vera at -160. He has a xenotropic tai otoshi. Vera won't escape the foe.
Gaethje vs. Chandler
I adopt Justin Gaethje at -215. He has an incredible leaping clothesline and a zany kneebar. Gaethje won't warp the cutman.
Usman vs. Covington II
I can't get enough of Kamaru Usman at -320. He has a judicious inverted atomic drop. Usman isn't about to incorporate the foe.

Kamaru Usman, TKO, R3
I've seen more improvements out of Usman than I have with Colby, both guys will need to establish their control and I do think it'll be Usman who does that with his constant stance switches and putting the jab out there to the head and the body, Don't think either guy out wrestles each other, they're too good for that, it'll be a more measured striking battle here which I think Usman is just better in. Colby has the kicks but I don't know how successful he'll be with them, especially when Usman can land some counter jabs and gets his timing down, whereas with Colby he doesn't have the power and the timing to stifle Usman's attacks. The damage will add up with Usman and I see him getting the finish again in the rematch

Usman - 290
The hardest match tonight!!. The Nigerian Nightmare” could build around his dominant wrestling game, which alone was enough to control seemingly any opponent he would face. Usman continued to flash some potential as a striker during his rise on the ladder, most notably and obviously hunting what wound up as a brutal knockout over Sergio Moraes
Namajunas - 105
50/50 here. But i think Rose by DEC!!!.
The rest of the matches who cares!?
