Kamaru Usman, TKO, R4
usman has gotten better and better and i'm not convinced covington has been keeping up
Namajunas vs. Zhang II
Rose Namajunas, TKO, R3
wittman gonna work his magic getting all the reads that thug roses misses by round 2 and from there easy coasting
Edgar vs. Vera
Marlon Vera, TKO, R1
edgar is washed. i hate to say it but i just dont see how he gets out of this fight without taking some serious punishment. vera is brutal especially with his elbows
Burgos vs. Quarantillo
Billy Quarantillo, TKO, R3
ive seen people say burgos will match quarantillo's scrappiness and cardio and he's a better striker... quarantillo is as scrappy as they come and i think a lot of people are sleeping on him for this one
Gaethje vs. Chandler
Michael Chandler, TKO, R2
wittman is good, but gaethje has a tendency to get wild and hunt for a finish... i think if anyone from the wittman squad is gonna lose it'll be gaethje by TKO/KO
Michailidis vs. Pereira
Alex Pereira, TKO, R1
is this even a question? pereira has been training with texeira for years and michaildis is being fed to a wolf
Iaquinta vs. Green
Al Iaquinta, DEC
i love this fight! im a bobby green fan but his antics can get in the way of his fighting and iaquinta sticks to his gameplan regardless of whats happening
Jacoby vs. Allan
Dustin Jacoby, SUB, R2
jacoby should outclass allan everywhere
Vergara vs. Osbourne
C.J. Vergara, TKO, R2
osbourne's key to victory here will be his 2. if he manages to time his left it's his fight to win, but he's vulnerable to being timed himself... great match to start the card either way

Reach vs Wrestlig
Predictions: 8 of 14 Winners, 2 Perfect, 465 Points | Tied for 3527th
I believe this fight will be separated by reach and jab, both of which Usman has the advantage over Colby.
Usman's jab has been lethal since joining Trevor Whitman and his team. I predict that his distance control, power, and jab will piece up and take out Colby in the 3rd.
Thoughts?

Shane Burgos, DEC
Banger, this could be FOTN. Going with Burgos his striking is more cleaner than Billy's which is why I think he can win. Both will try to come forward but I think with Burgos's body shots and cleaner striking it'll be him on the front foot, whoever can get on the front foot will win this fight. Both dudes are extremely tough and I do think Billy Q makes it to the decision but he loses this one

If Shahbazyan can knock out someone like Tavares I don't see why he can't do it to Imavov. Imavov's last win was impressive but it's not like Shahbazyans last two losses are against nobodies. The longer this fight goes on, the more I like Imavov. Definitely one to watch the live line on.
Vera just doesn't have the resume to support picking him decisively over 40 year old Edgar. This definitely feels like a fight to get Edgar back in the win column if anything. Would set up a nice ranked "legend fight" against Cruz assuming he beats Munhoz.
Billy Q is kind of in the same spot as Vera IMO. Truthfully, Burgos has only fought the tougher competition. He doesn't really have any marque wins that allow me to pick him confidently over someone as scrappy as Billy Q. If I'm close to switching any of these 3 picks, it's probably Billy Q over Burgos. As of right now I think Burgos gets it done.

Kamaru Usman, DEC
maybe more grappling this time around? gotta think one of them has a plan b for if the striking doesn't work out.
Namajunas vs. Zhang II
Rose Namajunas, DEC
might be like the joanna rematch so i'm going with same pick as last time. rose "caught" her first time and will dominate the whole time this time.
Edgar vs. Vera
Marlon Vera, DEC
i hate picking frankie's fights. he might be able to grind vera down and avoid sub attempts, but i'm not sure his eat-damage-until-then style works here.
Burgos vs. Quarantillo
Shane Burgos, DEC
other fotn candidate, feels like a real coin toss to me, gonna be all action. so who thrives in the chaos more? no idea, but guess i feel like burgos has more finishing power rather than just volume?
Gaethje vs. Chandler
Justin Gaethje, TKO, R3
i think gaethje is right and chandler will be shooting early, but not sure he'll be able to close the distance efficiently enough damage-wise.
Michailidis vs. Pereira
Alex Pereira, TKO, R1
all 4 losses for michailidis are via ko/tko and he hasn't submitted someone since 2014, i'm not gonna overanalyze and just go with the low hanging fruit here.
Iaquinta vs. Green
Bobby Green, DEC
fotn candidate here, hoping to be wrong but i kinda think al's willingness to get hit won't mix well with bobby's movement and range. he's all heart though so it's possible he's willing to wade through punches to work inwards.
Hawes vs. Curtis
Phil Hawes, DEC
curtis will probably push the pace early, but i'm not sure he'll be able to keep hawes back the whole time.
Shahbazyan vs. Imavov
Nassourdine Imavov, SUB, R2
guess a decent bit of people here think edmen has fixed up his tdd a bit, but i still think he's gonna get stuck fighting where imavov chooses. so why not sub? gotta fit one in somewhere.
Williams vs. Garry
Ian Garry, TKO, R2
certainly smells like an intended feeding so i'll bite.
Villante vs. Barnett
Chris Barnett, DEC
gian will probably look rejuvenated for 2 or 3 minutes, but after i expect barnett's athleticism and movement to wear him down for the typical heavyweight slobfest we all tune in for.
Jacoby vs. Allan
Dustin Jacoby, DEC
allan probably tries to clinch often otherwise he's gonna get eaten up i think.
Baghdasaryan vs. Souza
Melsik Baghdasaryan, TKO, R2
feeling like souza will oblige melsik and keep it standing.
Vergara vs. Osbourne
C.J. Vergara, TKO, R2
i have no idea what the oddsmakers see that make ode such a sizable favorite here, other than maybe level of competition? but he's been quickly finished in both of his name matchups and rivera doesn't belong in the ufc right now. cj beat bruno korea and that's probably the best win either of them has and he seems to be able to finish the fight in the later rounds whereas ode is strictly r1. wow, longer winded analysis than i anticipated, but felt like a coin flip.
