Listen Erison I was on your side til you brought up replay in baseball lol baseball needs human error. For more reasons than I want to get into on a MMA forum but every single steal being reviewed to see if someone held a tag as their body popped a millimeter off the bag is annoying as ****. Leave baseball alone. People who like it will like it people who don't won't. Stop changing baseball.

lol, instant replay slowing down the leisurely 1-0 three hour baseball game? Let's speed this thing up, we got extra innings to get to!

All sports need human error also UFC has used digital scales funny how peoples memory is so bad.

Im not saying I'd rather watch a computer simulation, but I'd also probably never argue that the wrong result occuring because someone didn't see something is a good thing.

Good point as usual Erison, any human factor does add a big bias and therefore failures.

I'll also shut right up when the refs miss a foul if it's my team. I'm only human. And there's definitely a charm to crafty veterans who know how to push the rules to the absolute limit. But it's probably best to make sure the result is the right one, even if it takes a thousand replays to get there. Like how in the world can they be filming UFC fights from a dozen angles with cameras that cost six figures, and still not know if a knee was fair or foul, and have no way to check during a 5 minute break in action?

Seem like a big baseball fan Erison lol that's kinda my point. If people don't like the sport or aren't fans why such strong opinions to change a game they have no interest in? I've always wondered that. Everyone I know that actually likes baseball wishes the game would be left alone. Everyone I know that goes to a ball park once every 2-5 years to take pictures, grab a hot dog, & leave by the 7th inning because they're bored watching a pitching duel 1-0 game have such strong opinions on how the game should change. makes no sense. It's the same as someone who doesn't watch MMA coming in here and telling everyone what they should change about the sport.

lol calm down, I didn't go into a baseball forum and talk ****, because you're right I'm not a baseball fan. But when the argument is objectivity vs subjectivity, fandom doesn't really need to come into a play. I think the sports result should reflect what actually happened. Across all sports.

Though I gotta say I do find it funny that someone would complain about replay slowing the game down, when the game is baseball. There's just about a full pee break between every pitch in even the most intense game. As far as preserving a natural game flow and rhythm, baseball is probably the safest.

I mean we already have Replay for fight ending sequences...any other degree of replay would slow down the fights.

I rather have Open Scoring before having replay that hardcore.

Open scoring is interesting. I remember when boxing tried it a few times to try to keep scoring honest, but exactly what you'd expect happened: fighters who knew they were up by enough points just ran around the ring for the closing rounds.

I never mentioned it slowing the game down. Its stupid for other reasons like the one I did mention. I don't mind how long baseball games are. Wanna know why? Cause I like baseball.

I'm calm as can be lol I wasn't coming at you directly in reference to the hot dog picture takers. Just in general can tell you're not a fan. Again the people who like baseball and or grew up playing it don't mind the game times or pitchers duel's and for the most part don't like replay. Don't want computerized umpires. Its only the people who don't like baseball that seem to want that stuff and its just strange to me

Vegas has replay now for non fight ending sequences. Herb watched a replay last week to yell at Mo Greene. I don't mind it in other sports. Football its ok at times. Basketball it seems to work fine even tho the sport is just soft these days. Baseball I don't think it has any place. Just my opinion lol we're all entitled to them, ****** or not.

Soriano's UFC debut was Jan 4 2014 against Tatsuya Kawajiri and he lost, in fact he was given 3 fights and he's winless in the UFC. He was subbed twice and lost a decision.

changing my pick to schenll at the last minute - bontorin missed weight / gassed in his last fight / got knocked out fairly recently / is kind of a lot Smaller than schnell

In retrospect Im not even sure why I picked Bontorin to begin with!

I honestly find it funny as **** that the UFC is forced to just keep showing Dan Hooker getting knocked the **** out and Chandler doing backflips when they have to run promos on Chandler. Oliveria has like 17 clips of him finishing top UFC fighters and here is just Dan Hooker getting repeatedly knocked the **** out LOL
